First I am in no way connected to Comfort Creek Foods or Crider Corp the Parent company.
http://www.cridercorp.com/home.cfm/page/products/product/Canned_Meats.html
This is just a personal review of one of their products.
I just finish having lunch of a baked potato cover with a can of Comfort Creek Foods Gravy and Roast Beef. I found this product at the local Dollar Tree for you guessed it a dollar. It is a 5 oz. can and though I am not a big buy of food from the Dollar Tree I thought I give this a shot and brought one can. It is made in America in Stillmore, GA.
Any way it wasn't bad, not a lot of meat, but heated and pour over some potatoes, noddles or rice it will make a decent meal. I personally plan to purchase several more cans.
Canned meats are usually expensive and there aren't a great varity so I am offfering this review for something you migh wish to try and possible add to you food storage.

Preppers Ping!!
Please add me to your preppers ping list. Thanks!
If you want to toss some truly awful meat into your larder for barter purposes later on may I recommend the canned ham from Dollar General.
I won’t eat the stuff unless I’m really, really, really hungry. Other folks, however...
Ping
If that is one serving it is pretty decent in its protein content. Protein is the hardest thing to stock up on for a crisis - one can only eat some much Spam.
I will try it thanks for the info.
Smart alec! LOL! ;-)

Seldom do I get the chance to just put a smile on someones face with just a hint of humor....

I bought a few cans of this stuff called “Clasico Gravy and Beef Chunks” 12oz for 1.99 each at a discount joint near me.
Great on noodles or rice or however!!
Went back to the joint multiple times since then and never saw them again... grrrr.... if I DO SEE them again, I’m gonna grab a couple cases if they have ‘em.
Thats one serving so we are talking about 7 cans at seven dollars for 700 calories almost two punds of gravy and roast beef chunks. I think its a good deal.
Thanks for the link.
Hi, please add me to your preppers ping list.
Hmmm Joe, you gots me to thinkin’...
I go through the stuff pretty regularly as part of my workout routine, but I also keep a back-stock as part of my prepper supplies. I also maintain (and recommend) daily multi-vitamins. They’re relatively cheap in bulk, and while they hardly have the satisfying, morale-building effect of a decent meal, they will, in an absolutely worst case scenario, at least allow your body access to some basic nutrients, and don’t take up a lot of storage space. Just be sure to track expiration dates and rotate your stocks.
