Some people have a way of breaking down an issue, laying it out in its simplest, most rudimentary form. Comic and podcaster Adam Carolla did just that recently when he unleashed what many conservatives will hail an acerbic yet painfully accurate debunking of the Occupy movement and its self-ascribed motivations. The nearly ten minute long lampooning of America’s new “******g self-entitled monsters“ who ”think the world owes them a living” is peppered with very strong language, still, Carolla’s observations are worth listening through to the end.
Among the many highlights in Carolla’s rant, he asks why the top “1 percent” of America paying 50 percent of all income taxes in the country is not good enough for the Occupiers. He also observes how “envy” never before existed among Americans the way it does now, and that it, along with “shame” plays a crucial role in the Occupiers’ motivation and self-justification.
Reflecting on how things used to be “back in the day,” Carolla states:
“You took guys who built something, and you said ‘there’s a guy who accomplished something.‘ You didn’t say, ‘that guy didn’t pay his fair share.’ That guy paid millions of dollars last year, and you paid s*** and you’re pissed at him?”

All the media had to do to see the exact same things Adam just said WAY before he said them was to come here. Even still, I applaud him for saying these things.
I saw this coming back in the 1980’s. Notably the purple or green or yellow participation badges and ribbons. The “We’re All Winners” mentality was rampant back in schools back then. Twenty-five years later these kids are squatting all across the country demanding they have everything the millionaires have.
That really was excellent.
Public schools.
I STILL see people on relocation/real estate forums all a-twitter about how 'good' the public schools are in such and such an area...get real. They ALL suck.
Come on, America. This CAN be fixed. Homeschooling, private schools, vouchers; whatever. Public schools are NOT getting it done...period.
(Don't worry, parents...this is only a problem at 'other' schools...I'm sure YOUR school is just awesome.) Educators...please don't waste time with PM telling me to 'go fornicate myself'...you're only proving my point. :-)
Great point...I have noticed that the liberal elite of New England have difficulty expressing themselves unless they interject the 'f' word into every sentence.
Funny how I RARELY (if ever) heard the 'f' word when living among the 'gun-clinging Bible thumpers' down south. Go figure.

OMG. Adam Carolla can leave one completely speechless, as in..there’s just nothing left to say. I have heard many of his podcasts on many topics and he is more often than not absolutely SPOT ON. Certainly NOT for the prim and proper and easily offended, however. I absolutely love alot of what he has to say!

His entire career as a community organizer runs contrary to this. He went into the poor communities and told people to tell him what the government could do for them.
