Something for nothing? Like salvation?
Yeah, they are good friends of ours and have been for longer than they have gone to this church. We are not going to drop them because of the church they attend.

What would Buddy Jesus do?
To: Gamecock
A long time ago I heard a preacher say that when the persecution comes, it will come from the church. I had a hard time understanding that at the time. The “church” of the false prophets may just do the bidding of their master in our time. Reading Bonhoffer gave me a perspective the Reich Church in the 20th century. Don’t want to give this buffoon to much credit but he is a tool to be used if they want him.

It’s a historical comparison.

(Since Obama's only challengers in 2012 are in the GOP debates, including him the next 15.)

A number of Americans still have questions about Obamas religious beliefs. Whether it is due to his 20 year attendance at the Rev. Jeremiah Wrights Trinity United Church, polls indicating that 12 percent of Americans still believe that he is a Muslim, or the first familys decision to not regularly attend church, the presidents Christian faith has not been an easy issue for the White House. For me it was his agnostic mother's influence which he credits with giving him a "healthy skepticism for organized religion" (his own words).
Barack Obama claims to be a Christian yet he denies Jesus is THE way to salvation. Obama has said in an interview that he refuses to accept that those who live under other religious traditions would be damned. He also defines sin as that which goes against his own values.
Well, isn't that special?
