I guess that part doesn’t bother me that much. I’m sure that he and the Queen can find something to agree on, and there is of course a lot of pressure to be bipartisan on both sides.
But when you look at the actual issues, that is the problem. Of course, it’s a problem with all these jokers. Romney brags that he can work with Democrats. That’s the last thing I want them to do. I’d like a candidate who says he’ll stick his finger in their eyes. Who says that though?
The Romneybots just don’t get it. We are fully aware of these things Gingrich has done. They are baked into our calculations. He’s still the better choice to Romney simply because he has conservative bona fides. It was not Romney who carted and directed the attack on the dems and their culture of corruption in `94. It was not Romney who authored the Contract with America. It was not Romney who forced Clinton’s hand on welfare reform and it was not Romney who attempted to hold Clinton accountable for his illegal actions through impeachment.
It WAS Romney who birthed Romneycare which was the blue print to Obamacare. It WAS Romney who disavowed Reagan in 1994 while running against Teddy. It was Romney who advocated gun control and abortion.
No matter what the Romneybots say and/or do, they can not make Romney have conservative bona fides and they can not take away from Newt his conservative bona fides.
Therefore, game over for Romney.,
How many bills did Obama co-sponsor with anyone?
Nobody who could actually solve America’s problems could ever get elected. We have grown a dependent class that will reduce us to anarchy before America can be re-instituted.

20 bills on defense, justice, treasury, and interstate commerce is the limit. That would limit the nonsense. Also no amendment may be introduced unless it is specific in nature to the business of the bill. Adding a $600,000 appropriation for a guppy research pond at Mississippi State University as an amendment to a bill detailing oil and gas leases in Alaska is pure Washington Crapola.
No one has any business sponsoring 418 bills for any reason. This is another example of why we need to return to a congress of citizen volunteers.
