The media lynched another black man

Karl Rove and the GOP establishment didn’t bother to notice, but the high-tech lynch mob of the media lynched another black conservative last week.

The radical left which equals the US media these days thought it set a good example for blacks never to get off that plantation again. The media had a good time with their mob lynching, just like the beer-sozzled demagogues of the old Jim Crow days. Robert Byrd taught them a lot.

Ann Coulter is the only conservative I know who laid out the case for Herman Cain’s defense. Herman Cain was simply accused by Axelrod puppets, and you could see the GOP cower down, and even, to their everlasting shame, the conservative media did a shuffle and grin.

The same thing happened to Governor Sarah Palin, who has been media-mobbed for four years because she is a beautiful, articulate, and conservative woman. The left can’t allow a woman off their plantation any more than a black man. Only Michelle Bachman is still in the race.

The media is destroying conservatives in the GOP race like ducks in a shooting gallery. Last time they destroyed Mitt Romney for being a Mormon. They will try again. The left is lost to normal human decency, of course. They are an equal opportunity lynch mob.

Clarence Thomas nailed them forever when he called them a “high-tech lynch mob” during his Supreme Court nomination hearings. He spoke truth to power, and that fact gave his nomination enough respite to go through the Senate.

I like Herman Cain. Cain is a traditional black man. He is real, when Obama is a PR image. I’ve never heard of a real black man in America called “Barack Hussein Barry Soetoro Obama.”…….

The real lynching came AFTER the third allegation with all the phony polling that convinced Cain that he didn’t have a chance to recover.

Cain had this thing locked up, and ran like a little schoolgirl when he should have been fighting like mad.
The January primaries would have vindicated him.

If it turns out that he doesn’t have something up his sleeves by “SUSPENDING” his campaign, then maybe he just isn’t the man for the job... because if he cannot handle the press over trumped up charges like this, then there is NO WAY he can handle the press on real matters.

I agree in part. I agree that the sexual harrassment allegations were unsupported by anything substantial at all.

I also think that the final straw was his acknowledgement that his wife did not know about the payments he’d been making to the cell-phone lady.

That was too much for the electorate to process by Iowa and New Hampshire in any case. His only hope would have been to hold until S Carolina and surge there. Unfortunately, Newt was already moving.

That said, the cell-phone lady wouldn’t have had the impact she’d had if the harrassment allegations had not been a drip drip drip for the previous month.

A pithy commentary on the left's successful attack on Herman Cain following their equally successful years-long attack on Sarah Palin. The end result of the left's media attacks were to drive the target (Palin, Cain) off the campaign trail or, in Palin's case, to convince her not to run. As the article asks: how many black conservatives - of which few even exist - will try to run for president, now? How many conservative women will be eager to run for president after seeing Sarah Palin ravaged in the media as the GOP establishment pretended not to notice? It's bad enough that conservatives tend to nitpick conservative candidates - Mitt Romney is glaringly excluded from that group - but that the leftmedia that relentlessly digs up dirt, real or fabricated, on conservative candidates until they find or manufacture enough (or the 'right' kind of dirt) still has the ability to drive away perfectly good conservative Republican presidential candidates is disgusting.

We simply cannot expect any middle-age person (as most presidential candidates are) to have lived a 'perfect' life that has absolutely nothing on the record that can't ever be ginned up into a faux 'scandal'. Of course, when big bucks are thrown around, it isn't too hard to convince someone the prospective candidate may have known years ago to fabricate a tale of 'sexual harassment' or worse, as in Cain's case. Sarah Palin - my original choice for president - apparently decided not to run in the interest of protecting her young children from the negative effects of real or manufactured 'scandals' comprised of supposed 'inappropriate behavior' she may or may not have engaged in a quarter century ago. So, with Cain, 'another one bites the dust' and it appears that we're getting closer to having to again settle for the choice of the left - and the GOP 'establishment' - for the 2012 Republican presidential candidate. I hope not. We can't afford another big-government RINO. Not now and never again.

I 90% agree that Cain was lynched by the left and the media....However, why did Cain run knowing he had this cell phone lady in his background? Why didn’t he tell his wife before he announced a run for President? If he had, the impact of cell lady would of been nilch. What hurt Cain was the fact his wife didn’t know about cell lady and the money exchanges. If he had been truthful, his statement to the media would of been this “ My wife knows about cell phone lady and we have given her funds”. Instead, he was buried and sunk with “my wife didn’t know about it”....

Was Cain so naive after what happened to Sarah to think he would survive the media crap storm, the deep investigation, the plants, the accusations?

If only...he had been truthful with his wife, this might have been a different turn-out.

I wonder how well you would do with the press under similar circumstances?

Why to conservatives keep demanding candidates to be super heroes? Why do we listen to the MSM and the pundit-ocracy at all?

We’re doomed.

True that. But it raises the question of why he would offer such implicatorily damming information to a feral press, when he must have known well what they would do with it.

He didn't suspend due to the polling numbers, and he didn't suspend due to the allegations...

He suspended to protect the lives of his family.

Remember how the announcement was postponed that day? Word has it that he was NOT going to suspend his campaign that day. But on the way to the venue, he received a phone call... something about the lives of his Grandchildren being threatened.

If you saw that day, the Secret Service were all over him, body-flanking him in tight formation as he walked the line to shake hands after his speech.

If you want to listen to the words of this man, who was with Cain on Wednesday night, you'll see that something happened recently that ramped up the threats. Prior to Wednesday, the speaker says you could be close to Cain. On Wednesday night, things changed, Secret Service stepped up their protection, even Cain's senior staff was given extra scrutiny, etc.

And then the day of the announcement, something happened on the way to the venue...

Fast forward in this audio to about the 39 minute mark, and listen at least to the 46 min mark. They talk about the Secret Service protection:

Herman Cain is going to be on Hannity tonight.

Is there someone that can post that as a notice?

I just got home.

Cain is also on BET tonight at the same time.

Anyone know if either Hannity or BET can be seen streaming online? I have no cable tv.

I don’t know exactly why Herman Cain dropped out, but I don’t feel they were justifiable to his supporters who were literally promised a fight until the day before he suspends his campaign. I feel let down big time when we were getting messages from his campaign to donate, and assuring us up until the day before he dropped out that he wouldn’t let liberal lies derail the Cain Train.

I will still support him if came back into the race, but if he doesn’t it’s not going to help his reputation. He then sends an email out talking about his new website, www.TheCainSolutions.com, and says we haven’t lost if don’t stop fighting, but it’s Cain who stopped fighting, not his supporters who were promised a fight that didn’t even make it to the first primary.
