Dr. Dan says No to U.N. Climate Court

While we wrestle with our national debt and the prospect that our economy may not rebound soon, the international push to regulate every aspect of our lives through Marxist collectivism presses forward. The environmental fascists at the United Nations climate conference held in South Africa this week put forward plans to hold every nation and person on Earth responsible for “climate change.” Their proposals should alarm every sovereign individual, especially those in richer nations like the United States.

The first holds that a “climate court” be created to enforce arbitrary rules concerning cutting “emissions.” In this scheme, developed countries would pay fines to compensate poorer countries for a “climate debt.” This is sure to set your blood boiling and pressure pounding. Why is this so dangerous? The climate court denies the sovereignty of the United States (as well other nations, such as the UK and Australia), making our nation subject to the whims of foreign administrators. It overturns the Constitution, creating an international law to override American law. It affords none of the protections in the Bill of Rights, instead converting individualism to collectivism. Essentially, it is a way to steal money from productive people in the name of “compassion.” Supposing even that such a court had some merit (which it does not), what guarantee would even the poorer nations have that such stolen money would reach them? But here we speculate whether thieves will have honor.

To sweeten the pot, the document calls for developed countries to help poorer countries with “finance, technology and capacity building,” ostensibly to bring them into competition with richer countries and into compliance with the United Nations. A veritable utopia! The game is quite obvious. The poorer nations are “victims” while the richer nations are “oppressors.” The United Nations, or whoever would take credit for the creation of such a court, is the “savior.” This is Marxism, pure and simple.

Further language claims that the developing countries should receive an amount of money equal to the sum “developed countries spend on defense, security and warfare.” The first thing to notice is that a choice is given. Either these developed countries will export a huge amount of “compensation” to the lesser nations, or else the amount spent on “defense, security and warfare” must be greatly reduced. Guess which side of the decision the developers of this plan hope to force? As a matter of record (just in case you doubted it), the document actually calls for a guaranteed end to warfare altogether, noting that “conflict-related activities emit significant greenhouse gas emissions” and calling on all parties to “cease destructive activities” (warfare).

The second proposal asserts the “rights of mother earth.” As a man of belief, I know who is God, and it is not “mother earth.” Nor do I believe that the Earth has rights that supersede those of man. God told man that the Earth and all upon it was subject to man. This means we are stewards for God’s sake, but it is not up to the United Nations to enforce such stewardship. This type of coercion has nothing to do with serving God but is instead mandating slavery to other men.

Fortunately, even climate change proponents don’t see a climate court coming anytime soon. In addition, a handful of our elected officials do understand how preposterous and dangerous this is and are standing up for American sovereignty and our Constitution.

As your Congressman for the 11th district of North Carolina, I will join these patriots and fight against any and all mandates having anything to do with climate change. I believe “global warming” to be a hoax intended to rob us further of national and personal freedom and wealth. I will vote against any proposal for cap-and-trade or any other carbon tax. We must also end participation, whether at the federal or local level, with UN Agenda 21.

We must realize that this is just one more battle in the eternal struggle of good versus evil. In pursuit of world domination, the tyrants and elitists who would steal our liberty never sleep. Individual freedom can only be preserved by the constant vigilance and vigorous resistance of patriots and statesmen.

“environmental fascists”. We should use this term as much as possible when describing these lunatics. Hammer it home!

Try to reduce your handouts to one page printable size and encourage print and pass.

May I suggest your lead paragraph begin with
Unfortunately (X Fortunately even) climate change proponents don’t understand (X see)after “Kyoto Global Warming Treaties” get ratified an international climate court will be coming next.(X anytime soon)
Then go into your constitutional issues

I’ve been around long enough to remember the “global cooling” scam in the ‘70s. Those “Earth Day” parties at Penn State were excellent places to meet chicks! The Africanized killer bee scam fizzled quickly, but the “radon” and “black mold” scams made some people a pile of money, nearly as much as the “lead-based paint” and DDT scams.

What the lawyers are looking for now is the next trillion-dollar tobacco payday. They thought they had it with “global warming” (DC law firms hired scores of “climate litigators” just a few years ago) but now that “global warming” is dead it looks like all they have left is to figure out to milk fast food chains with some kind of an obesity scam. I’m sure they’ll think of something... In fact, Maybe Ms. Ubama is the tip of the spear for such an effort.

U.N. Blackballs International Scientists from Climate Change Conference

As the debate on man-made global warming has been heating up, the UN has tried to freeze out the scientists and new evidence, summarily dismissing them with the claim "the science is settled."

James M. Taylor, senior fellow for The Heartland Institute explained, "It is not surprising the UN has completely rejected dissenting voices. They have been doing this for years. The censorship of scientists is necessary to promote their political agenda. After the science reversed on the alarmist crowd, they claimed 'the debate is over' to serve their wealth redistribution agenda."

Like all Marxist schemes, this scheme is NOT intended to transfer wealth to the poor but to the Marxists.

I see this UN Climate Kangaroo Court as a declaration of war against the United States of America. I think it’s time for the American military to fire up some blue helmet, baby rapists @$$.

I believe “global warming” to be a hoax intended to rob us further of national and personal freedom and wealth.

Early this month Reagan National airport registered its highest amount of rain in one day for the months of Nov, Dec, Jan or Feb. Why? Because colder air holds less water and less rain and warmer air holds more. So we see events like a new rainfall record in meteorological winter that or warming in the coldest parts of Siberia and Canada in winter and at night. It so happens that those are all good things.

You will also see events attributed to global warming which are not due to global warming like strong tornadoes. Despite this year's outbreaks, strong-to-violent tornadoes are trending down over the 1900's and 2000's. The attribution of other "extreme" weather is very dubious particularly the drought in Texas which was caused by La Nina.

Where did the current warming come from? There is no doubt that the world warmed naturally following the Little Ice Age (1400's to 1800's) and that warming would have caused a rise in CO2 of about 5-10 ppm as the oceans warmed and off-gas more CO2. But CO2 rose over 110ppm and is still rising fast. Fossil fuels is mostly where the extra 100ppm come from although there are less certain arguments about the role of deforestation.

The final question is whether increased CO2 causes warming. It is pretty clear that it does by simple physics models showing that the added CO2 molecules absorb more outgoing warmth and transfer that warmth to the O2 and N2. Then there are the "climate models" that predict water vapor feedback and ultimately "catastrophes" like Greenland ice melting in large quantities. I have studied those in depth and they have no predictive value. In fact, they are simply "fitted" to past data using changes in a large number of parameters that cannot be modeled, mostly related to local weather. Those parameters will certainly change in the future.

What I recommend is that you drop the word "hoax". Science offers a compelling and coherent understanding of CO2 and warming. Biased and politicized science has gone much further into the prediction of catastrophe without justification. There is a pretty clear line that can be drawn between basic science and the "hockey stick" or "climate models" that are not good science.
