Ron Paul for President, Are You Freaking kidding Me

Posted on 12/29/2011 10:43:07 AM PST by TheNewPatriot

All you Ron Paul supporters, you are obviously one digit short of a normal IQ or have a single digit IQ. No conservative believes we had anything to do with 911 or believes we brought it on ourselves. Once you step into the realm of 911 being America's fault, you're in the realm of kook ville anti-America rhetoric. I don't want a President that's going to sympathize with our enemies and rationalize it as it must be our fault. We have that already with Obamalama. If you like that, vote for Hussein. Also, being a military veteran, I'm sure as hell not voting for some clueless idiot that denies there's still a threat out there against America and wants to deal with it by dismantling our military. Mr. Paul demonstrates that he has a dangerous and fundamental misunderstanding of the threat posed to every American citizen by radical Islam and the little Hitler running Iran.

Let's also not forget the racist newspaper. Don't even go there with the excuse he had no idea what was being printed. You have to be walking Mr. Magoo not knowing your name is attached to such racist filth. Bottom line, Mr. Paul is many things, but conservative is not one of them and he isn't the answer America is looking for to return to that shinning light on the hill of greatness. Greatness doesn't come from being a pacifist or supporter of leftist social policies.

That is quite a Scot!

That version is a little on the "waaaaay too young" side for me, though. He's shaken, not stirred.

I love the smoky Islay malts. Tonight I had a tot of Ardbeg, and I have some unopened Caol Ila and some Laphroaig. I may have mentioned that to you before.

LOL! They're so smoky that if I leave my scotch glass sitting around, Hubby thinks that something is burning somewhere.

speaking of colored money, I remember the first time hubby and I went for a week in Canada..It seemed like we were always playing with monopoly money..reds, blues and the thing I noticed that differed from our money, is there was no attachment to it....our last day in Canada, the guy that waited on us in the restaurant got a huge tip/ all the canadian money we had in our pockets and my purse. Would never have given that kind of a tip in the states..

Why is Iowa going for RP? He’s a complete nut case.

Must be a lot of (d) crossover voters pulling for him.

I kind of like brightly colored money. Never occurred to me that the various governments might be tracking me with it. Consistancy suggests Paul must really hate technology, which in fact does track individuals and purchases. Wonder what he thinks about GPS and cell phones?

An example of how 11 carrier groups might be deployed, to have ships on the scene to prevent piracy.
A first carrier group is in the Gulf, in part because of threats by Iran to close the Straits of Hormuz.
A second in the Indian Ocean, perhaps you have heard of the Somali pirates?
A third in the Mediterranean, able to prevent piracy in the home of the historical Barbary Pirates, and their successors in Libya, Syria, Algeria, Egypt.
A fourth in the south Pacific. There is a significant pirate threat in Indonesia and the Philippines.
A fifth in the north Pacific, perhaps you have heard of North Korea?
A sixth in transit to or from a place of deployment
A seventh in the north Atlantic.
An eighth at Norfolk, training.
A ninth at Puget Sound, San Francisco, or San Diego training.
A tenth in San or Hawaii training.
An 11th in maintenance, or refit.

An enlightening study: Look up the USS Saratoga in WWII. She was in maintenance, and unable to participate in Midway. The US started the war with 7 aircraft carriers, to include the old converted collier Langley (CV-1).

“They didn’t come here because you’re free and prosperous —they don’t go to Sweden and Switzerland,” Paul said. “…The 9/11 Commission said that the motivation was the fact that we were over there and we had been over there for a long time.”

Why did the Taliban destroy the Buddhas of Bamiyan? Because we were over there?

Or maybe it was because they're psychotic Muslims who want to destroy everything that's not psychotic Muslim.

Including us.

Young people are not really enthusiastic about fighting and paying for foreign wars.

Nobody wants a foreign war, but it is better than a war in America. Cut and Run's policies embolden our enemies. Freedom is not free.

Young people think the military should be used to defend America, not as a tool for constantly meddling in the affairs of foreign countries.

Cut and Run does not think America should be defended. He wants to destroy our military.

Young people believe that constant military and diplomatic interventions in the Middle East have sowed animosity toward the United States.

America supports Israel, Israel is our best friend in the region, we should support her. The Arabs are never going to love us.

You should have put the word some in front of Young people.
All Young people are not cowards, just some.
All Young people are not sheep who follow their messiah without being able to think, just some.
All Young people do not think legalizing heroin and other drugs is a good idea, just some.
All Young people do not live in mom and dad's basement and want the surrender monkey to give them everything they demand, just some.
Some Young people do not have their heads stuck up their butts and want to keep America safe, but not the paulbots.

“Have you ever seen a bully pick on someone bigger and stronger than him?”
Yep, once on YouTube a coupla months ago, until the kid got fed up, picked up the little punk and body-slammed him on the pavement! HAW Your point is well said though.

Thank you. But if the bully had known what was going to happen, it wouldn't have.

(1) There is a “War in America”: the invasion of the United States by over 11 millions illegal aliens. Tellingly, the U.S. military is not used to repulse the real actual invasion that we see in our communities.

The military is used for every conceivable purpose BUT defending the territorial integrity of the United States.

(2) Neither Iraq, Vietnam, Libya, Serbia or any of these other countries had any capacity to launch a “War on America.” In every case, we were lied into supporting unnecessary wars of choice, which cost thousands of American lives and trillions of dollars of government spending.

(3) Freedom is not free? It is the federal government that is taking away our freedom (see the Holder Justice Department which sued AZ, AL, UT, and SC), not foreigners in places like Libya and Serbia.

(4) “Destroy our military” - what is the use of a “military” that defends the borders of Lithuania and South Korea, but not the borders of Arizona and Texas? Such a military (which does everything but defend the physical borders of the United States) is nothing but a waste of tax dollars.

(5) Israel, which is armed with nuclear weapons and possesses a first class military, is more than capable of defending itself.

I don’t expect the Arabs to love us. I do expect they will cease to be a problem if we leave them alone in their dump on the other side of the world. They did not become a problem for the United States until globalists began to micromanage the Middle East after the Second World War.

(6) Cowardice has nothing to do with the matter. The question is whether we want to squander American lives and American money on ridiculous utopian causes like spreading “democracy” and “women’s rights” in the Middle East.

Is that worth dying for? Is that worth paying for? Is a military that is used to protect the borders of South Korea, but not the borders of Arizona worth paying for?

Well, I disagree. If the military is not going to be used to defend America from real actual bona fide invaders, then it is not worth paying for with our tax dollars.

Furthermore, if the United States is going to have an open borders policy and a diversity lottery that invites terrorists for Islamic countries to waltz right in through the front door, foreign wars make no sense whatsoever.

If terrorists can immigrate to America openly, we should expect terrorists attack. 9/11 was a direct consequence of our liberal immigration policies. If the terrorists and their supporters in America were deported and/or excluded, there wouldn’t have been a 9/11.

(7) Young people know bullshit when they see it: and it is bullshit to say that we must protect America from the likes of Iraq, Serbia, Vietnam, and Libya, or that Iran poses more of a threat than Pakistan or North Korea or Red China or the Soviet Union.

(8) I don’t support drug legalization. I do think there is an element of silliness though to a drug policy which says that alcohol and tobacco are fine, but marijuana is evil, when I know far more people who have died in alcohol related motor vehicle accidents or from cancer than from being a pothead.

(9) Can you explain to me how we are “surrender monkies” when Baby Boomers have quite literally surrendered the State of California to millions of illegal aliens and which have allowed Arizona and Texas to be overrun by millions of illegal aliens.

Newt Gingrich wants to reward actual real invaders of America with amnesty. The easiest way to fight “terrorism” is to ban immigration from Muslim countries. But Baby Boomers are too chickenshit to address the problem because that would necessarily violate the conformist atmosphere of political correctness.

How strange. Baby Boomers are willing to kill foreigners in foreign countries which have not attacked us, but they are afraid to exclude potential terrorists by simply changing our immigration policies.

It is easier to kill someone than to be accused of being “intolerant” or a “racist.” This kind of sissy politics is while America is now on its last legs.

(10) Have the Baby Boomers kept America safe? Obviously, the answer is no. The Boomers failed to keep America safe, but they succeeded in bankrupting the country.

They have allowed millions of illegal aliens to invade America. They have supported “civil rights” policies which have turned our major cities into warzones. They allows Islamic terrorists to easily immigrate to the United States because excluding them would be “racist.”

Did you know that New Orleans, Detroit, and Chicago are more dangerous than being a soldier on the frontlines in Afghanistan? Why is that?

Have the Baby Boomers made America safe? Judging by the flight to distant suburbs and the rise of the home security industry and terrorists openly attacking Americans after being allowed into America by liberal immigration policies, we can conclude that the Baby Boomers failed miserably on that score.

Actually you have on issue with your Iran vs. North Korea theory. Iran has orbited satellites, NK has not.

If one has even a mundane understanding of weapons and systems they know what that means...

Which of the candidates have urged removal of Homosexuals from the military? I agree with you on that issue, but do not believe that that provides a clear choice. It is an issue that most simply try to avoid.

As for Iran's missile capabilities? I believe that what missiles they have were, at least in part, provided by North Korea, however North Korea chooses to use their own technology. In any case, the capability is far behind other nations. The answer is, of course, the Reagan program for space defenses against all potential foes--not focusing on one of many potential foes.

I have dealt with this situation in Pseudo Pragmatism--Political Folly.

The issue is not whether we have adequate defense. Of course, we must have adequate defense. What we must not do is waste our resources in fights that undermine our historic credibility, while undermining our eventual ability to deal with far more serious potential threats.

There is another aspect of this, I have not addressed before this moment; and that is this:

Obama is an amoral opportunist. He is undoubtedly considering the classic maneuver of the demagogue in power, seeking to enhance his power; and that is a sudden crisis, that he is able to control. The almost hysterical focus of certain Republican candidates on Iran, is pure opportunity for Obama. He can pick an incident--perhaps solely of his own creation--and attack Iran, putting many Republicans into a real quandry, trapped by their own rhetoric.

I do not know whether Obama's Islamic background is Shiite of Sunni. If the latter, this ploy would be all the more appealing to Obama.

I’m an O’Romney bot.

I’m also ready to invade Iran to spread the great “democracy”. That is, after I consult my attorneys.
