Liberal Web Site Lies: Claims Santorum's Wife Had Abortion
The liberal, pro-abortion web site Jezebel, which recently named as its woman of the year an abortion practitioner who injured a woman in a botched abortion, is now making false claims that Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum's wife had an abortion.

And -— so what if she did?
Many prolife leaders are people who have changed their minds, on the subject!

Well, with 7 kids, and only having sex to procreate, I can see how this rumor got started.

This may be referring to a D&C(-type) operation that is often done after a miscarriage / very premature birth. (Speaking from experience, sad to say.) The docs sometimes believe it best to go in and clean up a little. :( Of course, that is not an “abortion.”

To be fair, wasn't it a 'forced early labor'? That may not be a technical 'abortion', but the effective outcome was the same.
So I have to askfor sake of evaluating the consistency of Rick Santorum's positions on lifeis this an exception he would allow others to pursue?

I’m not going to take the bait and debate this. The fact that they are even bringing this up is absolutely vile.

I’d call them hypocrites, but that wouldn’t be true.
They’d be hypocrites if they truly believed the issue was a private one between the woman and her doctor, as they claim to believe.
They aren’t hypocrites because their actual agenda is to advance communism, advance the power of the state and to destroy the family. Anything is fair game.

GEEEezus H Keeerist, a D&C is not an abortion and no one needs an exception to have one.
Santorum is standing in a crap storm because he is getting ready to lead in the Republican race.
No wonder decent people don’t want to run for President.

If the libtards were to learn that Moochelle had undergone a D&C to scrape out whatever was in her uterus, they would celebrate it as an 'expression of personal choice'.

Bet your right about that. Yet, it won't make any difference to the likes of Alan Colmes.
These people are nothing more than bathroom wall art'eests.

...and only having sex to procreate.... Colmes clone.
To: pogo101
No - when her temperature shot up to 105 she went into labor.
The doctor administered pitocin to speed up delivery.
This is not an abortion.
In a “proper” abortion at 20 weeks - the baby dies within the womb and comes out in pieces, and in most cases it is performed because the mother has become inconvenienced by the pregnancy.
To: Opinionated Blowhard
Amen....and anyone who entertains the thought that she had an abortion or that Rick is a hypocrite (I won’t name you Freepers, but you know who you are) is just a VILE, Evil LIBERAL LIAR!!

that post is completely lacking in logic.
If a couple has an abortion mentality - why on earth would they have 7 kids?
To: Scotswife
Beats me, unless they just like to have sex and don’t want more kids.

Remember when they said Palin had her own grand daughter? Too many people were willing to believe that, it’s scarey.
