The Wall Street Journal has a letter today signed by 16 noteworthy scientists who wanted to go on the record about global warming. What they had to say constitutes todays Global Warming Oops Moment, one of those delightful public displays that reveal the emperor has no clothes.

The Coup de Grace for Global Warming Catastrophe?
Planners want to direct Bay Area residents to live in existing communities to cut back on greenhouse gas emissions

Those poor saps, So smug about saving the planet, while looking down their nose at us flatearthers. Unaware of their planned internment
I am now, and always will be, a “Global Warming Skeptic!” I began to question the whole GW hoax when I heard a politician (Robert Kennedy Jr, I think) on a talk show a few years ago breathlessly proclaim that hurricane activity had greatly increased in recent decades due to Global Warming and he warned that it would continue to get worse in coming years if the world didnt take drastic action (read expensive action) to stop it. Being the senior engineer/analysis that I am (no, really, I am) I went to the archives of the national hurricane center and looked up the hurricane data for North America going back 150 years. I plotted the data for each decade by each category of storm, also by grouping Major Hurricanes (Cat 3 and above) and finally total hurricane activity. There was NO statistically significant increase in hurricane activity in recent decades as Kennedy had stated. NONE! And by the way, there still hasnt been. I will go to my grave denying that Gloabal Warming is a major threat to mankind. In fact, I might direct that “Global Warming Skeptic” be engraved on my tombstone.”
Figure that all a hurricane is, is a massive heat energy to mechanical energy transfer mechanism. Without an unlimited amount of energy from the sun (and, contrary to what green-energy proponents say, that's limited), the number and/or strength of hurricanes always will hit a finite upper bound.
Odd that the blog-pimping OP didn't post it.
Or not odd at all...
