Bush’s mere due-process-free eavesdropping on and detention of American citizens caused such liberal outrage, while Obama’s due-process-free execution of them has not.
Beyond that, Obama has used drones to kill Muslim children and innocent adults by the hundreds. He has refused to disclose his legal arguments for why he can do this or to justify the attacks in any way. He has even had rescuers and funeral mourners deliberately targeted. The Democratic Party owes a sincere apology to George Bush, Dick Cheney and company for enthusiastically embracing many of the very Terrorism policies which caused them to hurl such vehement invective at the GOP for all those years. When 1.7 million people were executed by the Khmer Rouge Pol Pot regime in Cambodia, the Left sat on their thumbs with the only thing they had concern for was how potent was the pot in their pipes. The author of the particle may be a conservative without realizing it. Conservatives and libertarians are mainly concerned with operating under the rule of law. Progressives and radicals are only concerned with achieving specific objectives and will get there no matter what it takes (although progressives will pay lip service to rule of law then abuse it whenever necessary).

The US is not targetting innocent civilians at funerals. We are targetting Taliban forces who try to coverup the scene of a drone strike so that:
1. We won’t know who we killed, how many, or how many were wounded, or escaped.
2.They can recover documents and weapons before anyone else gets there.
3. They can hide the bodies from view and claim exaggerated casualties.
The communist line comes in, esp. from Hanoi and the Hanoi Lobby, that Americans deliberately killed only “women, children and old people” in our bombing campaigns over No. Vietnam.
Never mind that photos showed anti-aircraft batteries and missiles located in civilian areas, as well as military stockpiles, etc.
The same claims were levelled against Israel by the PLO in Lebanon until photos showed PLO tanks and anti-aircraft weapons housed between civilian housing projects.
