Time for the monthly rotation checklist. Ive adapted this from alpharubicons site (they have more info than I can ever read). Usually do this the first Friday of every month (you pick best time for you). Some of these actions may only pertain to those living in a moist (and in my case salty) environment. If you have a suggestion of what to add
let me know!

Check you BOB often. Don't keep batteries in devices! Use what you store! Store what you use!
I promise some on a thread on this subject.

Man, I just found something cool the other day.
You can take a metal office supply cabinet and make it into a faraday cage for EMP protection. Your mention of storing batteries made me remember it.
Keep your emergency electronic stuff in an office supply cabinet, and have it protected from EMP. (Make sure to ground the thing properly)

I followed your link to the video and spent half the day on youtube. Your fault. :)
That “LDSPrepper” guy has some good vids.
We must understand that preppers are going to cross paths with a lot of folks we don’t agree with on other things.
I’ve already run into everything from tinfoil hatters to Rambos to sandle footed exhippies.
I know what you mean. All kinds of people are catching on that it is time to prepare. And then there is the sweet little lady next door who would rather raise flowers instead of vegetables, but she does have chickens.
I grew up in the country. Canning food, raising a hog, and keeping chickens and a cow was considered normal. My how times have changed.

Thank you. I will order it. My husband will like it, too. You might enjoy his favorite magazine: http://smallfarmersjournal.com/
