Believe In A Return To The Gold Standard? You Are Now Officially An Extremist According To The FBI
ZeroHedge ^ | February 11, 2012 | Tyler Durden

Just when we thought the US could not sink any further in its usurpation of civil rights, here comes the FBI to advise all those who tend to think that the broken economic model of the past century is the cause for the global insolvency, that wanton fiat diluation and reckless debt issuance does not 'fix' the problem of uber-leverage, and that the gold standard is the proper way to return to monetary stability, will henceforth be considered extremists. From Reuters: "Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday. These extremists, sometimes known as "sovereign citizens," believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference." And the most epic line ever written: "The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard."

We need a divorce in order to avoid outright civil war and government abuse excuse giving. We need to be separated from this morass of incompetence.

Our cops certainly do not like to go to domestic violence calls, they will prefer a civil divorce over he prosecution always seeking to provoke some firefight that gets cops and people to hurt each other. THese sniveling lawyers... and the FBI is full of them unfortunately.

Oh yeah, the civil disputes completely suck for the cops. Hate them for shooting the dogs, pity them for getting involved in the unruly domestic disputes.

>> THese sniveling lawyers...

I’m all about repeal. Where do we begin?

The DOJ needs a big house cleaning.

More than that needs a housecleaning.

The current state of the FBI today is so that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson would be considered extremists and enemies of the government.

How come nobody ever says “enemies of a *bad* government?”

When the government scorns the constitution, who are the bad guys? Its enemies, or its friends?

Remember ,according to a Supreme Court ruling the “cops” do not have a responsibility to protect you .The quote is “ There in minutes when seconds count”. Police DO NOT prevent crime. If they did there wouldn’t be any.

Yeah,
And is that the same F.B.I. that over the years has let innocents go to jail for decades to cover for their murderer?
Or how about framing others?
Or how about looking the other way when a sitting president breaks the law?
The F.B.I. in many many ways is garbage.

The repeal starts in language. Either we are “for” a legal system based on criminalizing people for tax revenue purposes (drug war hypocrisy etc.) with a sister civil suit system (Tort, but if it fails resort to tax revenue criminalization), or we go back to the realm of the Declaration, which is a simple civil divorce, before things get uncivil.

However, the victim martyr culture is edging towards suicidal behavior, going to that point of no return, this “conspiracy theory” that the rich jerks are going to take from the poor at the end, with the poor ones deciding to strap on the suicide belt of Islam.

Are we going to live “the end of history” as Islam has been living it for the last 400 years? In the dark ages? With Obama?

Change? If people want change, they can move to Saudi Arabia and they will see change.

We have to wait and see and be ready at this point to take shelter or whatever when the whole thing goes bankrupt or default, one way or the other.

So when the FBI protected Whitey Bulger for decades
THAT is a “good” thing,
but conservatives, who want security for the
United States of America are a danger?

The Entire FBI/DOJ is now reprehensibly odious.
Justice no longer means anything in America
unless you are CONNECTED to Obama, or are a ‘black’,
or terrorist, or Marxist or Communist
or a murderer-helper against the Constitution, like Holder.

They understand very well that there is much less need of government’s “services” and fewer opportunities for intimidation if the citizens own the money instead of the government.

These extremists, sometimes known as "sovereign citizens," believe they can live outside any type of government authority

In the United States of America the people have retained the sovereignty in their own hands: they have in each state distributed the government, or administrative authority of the state, into two distinct branches, internal, and external; the former of these, they have confided, with some few exceptions, to the state government; the latter to the federal government.

Since the union of the sovereignty with the government, constitutes a state of absolute power, or tyranny, over the people, every attempt to effect such an union is treason against the sovereignty, in the actors; and every extension of the administrative authority beyond its just constitutional limits, is absolutely an act of usurpation in the government, of that sovereignty, which the people have reserved to themselves.
View of the Constitution of the United States

------

Having the laws of government apply to the People is Constitutional treason.

At least according to the man who was appointed to the Supreme court by Madison.

Nixon ended the Gold Standard. The price of the US$ was 35 to one ounce of gold until He said we will no longer pay out gold at $35 per ounce.

At the time gold was fetching $40 per ounce and was leaving Fort Knox at a terrific rate. One could buy gold at for knox for $35 and sell it in New york or London for $40. He had no choice

I think it is time to inject a little relevance into the thread.

The FBI is speaking of the J Orlin Grabbe’s of this world, if there are any left.

They founded a cyber nation with a cyber bank and a cyber currency the Rand that was gold based. The cyber nation had no geographical location. It was in the cloud. It could not be taxed or regulated by any government because it was no where and certainly not under the purvue of the FBI.

Alas, it all fell apart and mr Grabbe died at an early age. His thoughts, and he was brilliant, linger and are feared by the FBI

It appears the FBI is just an intrusive tool of the Left and has been for some time. If it expended as much energy on our internal enemies, instead of focusing on law-abiding citizens who express opinions, we would be far better off. Soon, if not already, comments like mine will put one on the “terror” list. I imagine tghere are many patriotic and rational FBI agents and I feel for them.
