Obama gambles on costly initiatives in new budget

.....At the same time, the president’s foreign aid request includes an entirely new $770 million account in 2013, described as the Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund with the purpose of advancing democratic and economic reforms in the region after the turmoil of the past year.

The two initiatives come on top of the budget’s plan for an almost 50 percent, six-year increase in transportation spending, $231 billion of which would be financed not by gas taxes but war savings attributed to Obama pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Conservatives are sure to challenge this assumption and have long argued that any such savings should go to reduce future deficit — not pay for new spending. Already Saturday, Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee had issued a critique, saying “the nation has long awaited the day that war costs would drop to reduce the deficit — not to provide a new source of funds for congressional big spenders.”

In the case of Obama’s community college initiative, it also will be funded outside the discretionary spending caps agreed to last summer and appears to build on the experience of a smaller $2 billion Labor Department program enacted in 2010 — almost as a footnote to health care reform.

We Obama is going to take the money we were using to fight the jihadists and now use it to support, supply and fund them? What universe am I in?

If he is re-elected, he will openly declare himself a Muslim. That’s been my prediction for quite some time.

The pubbies should be asking Obama: "Why not an Inner City Incentive Fund to aid disadvantaged minorities?" or simply propose one.

News flash to DC, and particularly that {expletive} occupying the White House. We are broke. This Country cannot afford to be running around trying to help the rest of the world. Charity begins at home, we have more than enough of our own problems right here - many of them created in the past three years. No more money for foolish foreign adventures, in fact no more money period. Strict Constitutionalism.

That would be a government "solution", so I can't get behind that.

But we could point out that Obama cares about people in the Middle East more than he cares about people in our inner cities.
We could point out that government is the problem.
Government takes your money and spends it on the other side of the world.
Government makes rules and regulations which make it impossible to start a business and employ people.
Get our government out of the way, and we can provide our own solutions.

Helping America recover: Obama is doing it wrong.

Its clear he has neither the will nor the desire to cut spending. He is betting that if he keeps loading spending onto the public, a tax increase will be inevitable. But what he doesn’t seem to understand is that spending is so out of control that it will take a huge middle class tax increase to pay for all this. Taxing the s**t out of the “wealthy” won’t cut it. And the middle class has become so selfish that it will rebel against the tax increase. Its how you end up with conditionsl like Greece. People want a huge handout paid for by someone else.

Cloward-Piven -- Get as many people as possible to take handouts from the government. Overburden the welfare system. Make it collapse. Then, the mass of disaffected people will be ripe for Marxist revolution -- all the old traditions will be overturned, as the entitled people desperately seek for a new political/social system that can fulfill their needs.

Obama is fomenting revolution in this country, and his "inability" to cut spending is a prime example of his strategy.

“spending is so out of control that it will take a huge middle class tax increase to pay for all this.”

It would take complete confiscation of everyone’s wages and property to come close to paying for this S..thead’s ideas and any attempt to cut the debt. This is another of his proposed budgets that goes up with no chance of passing so he can say Congress stopped his plans to bring back america. I hope the first thing that happens is a bill gets drafted in the Senate and every Dem hack has to vote on it, up or down, and I guarantee it is turned down. Of course Weed er Reid is not that dumb to put his majority leadership on the line that way. First of course, Bonehead would have to send up a spending bill from the house. Cry me a river Bonehead will do something stupid as usual.
