(TheDailyCaller.com) Has Sarah Palin just announced her candidacy for president? On Wednesday night she told Fox Business host Eric Bolling that she still has the fire in her belly and is still game to run for office. More telling, however, is what she said about the current GOP nomination battle and the possibility of a brokered convention.

she told Fox Business host Eric Bolling that she still has the fire in her belly and is still game to run for office.

If that's so, then she should throw her ushanka into the ring. She will have more credibility if she survives being tested in what Richard Nixon called "the fire of the primaries" than if she backed into the nomination as a result of a brokered deal.

How exactly is something written at TheDailyCaller.com attributed
to conservativeamericaonline.blogspot.com just because you pasted it there?

That would be blogpimping and plagiarism in its purest form.

Please explain why this isn't so in your case.

I'm sure there is a really good reason for your blog wanting hits
from people wanting to read something you didn't write.

Please clarify.

Palin Praying For Brokered Convention?

I personally do not know Sarah Palin, but from everything I have learned about her over the years I seriously doubt she is the type of person who would be "praying" for a brokered convention.

Silly headline.

I think Palin was already tested in the fire of an actual general election campaign four years ago. Tougher than any primary.

the establishment tossed her, and her kids, under the bus.

so... why play by their rules?

all the rest fell in line and started jumping through the pre-ordained hoops.

funny thing is... she’s the only one that can bring out the whole base. the establishment knows it. so does the left. that’s why they attack her nonstop.

and that’s why she won’t play by their rules.

can you spot a leader when you see one?

She wants someone to beg her to run. Obama would beat her like a drum.

True. She seems to be getting a lot of air time lately, and I don't get why exactly. I've heard people credit her with Newt's surge in SC. Yet if you noticed the sequence, she didn't lean in to Newt till after his first debate where Newt had already begun to turn SC on his own. Then Newt fell down going into Florida yet you'd assume the Palin mojo would still have been operative.

The primaries are worthless as a way to choose a candidate.

They should either be abolished, or their role severely curtailed.

I'm pretty sure there's a much smaller anti-Palin contingent in the GOP than there is an anti-anybody else contingent.

I think she would have the unique quality of being able to bridge the growing gap between Social Conservatives and Tea Party/small (l)ibertarians.

It’s going to be a shocking election day Nov 6...///...liberal polls will show the election “breaking” in the Republican direction, a couple of days before the 6th, if it’s a Conservative @ the top of the Republican Ticket. If it’s not a Conservative in that position, pass out the rusty razorblades.

This story is misleading. The “fire in the belly”, and her comment about running for office again were answers to two different questions.

The “fire in the belly” comment as about her willingness to be involved in fixing the country’s woes. Based on her past comments, that would include working hard to help get conservatives elected to the Senate and House. It was NOT about her running for office.

The comment about running was in answer to the question of whether she thought she’d ever run for public office again. She said it was possible.

Regarding her answer on a brokered convention, she said if there was one, she would “do whatever she could to help”. You can interpret that however you want, but what she DIDN’T say was that if she were drafted, she’d throw her hat in. She didn’t say that at all.
