(ABC News) Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has had a change of heart. The prominent Buckeye State Republican threw his support behind presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Friday afternoon, switching his allegiance from Mitt Romney to the former Pennsylvania senator. To be elected President, you have to do more than tear down your opponents, DeWine said in a statement. You have to give the American people a reason to vote for you a reason to hope a reason to believe that under your leadership, America will be better. Rick Santorum has done that. Sadly, Governor Romney has not.

Looks like Newt's big money man with the SuperPac will have to sign Newt another big check to go after Rick Santorum instead of going after Romney.
How come ? Adelson said he gave that money to Newt for the purpose to go after Rick Santorum ? and not after Romney ?

DeWine is no MAJOR player. He’s a whiny, little RINO whose cousin is the RINO head of the Ohio GOP.

He’s a MAJOR whining pansy.
Kind of amusing that he switched over Romney attacking his (and specter’s, santorum’s) vote with the democrats to usurp state’s rights to give voting rights to felons.

Im in OHIO I don’t care what any of the talking heads or GOP types say - I’ll vote my way thank you - endorsements mean nothing to most people (IMHO).

Looks to me like Mike’s standing up for Kevin, because he has nothing in common with Rick Santorum. If DeWine had been more conservative, he would have had a chance of holding onto his seat in 2006.
