Unions ruining America’s workplace

With private-sector union membership shrinking, organized labor is now seeking counsel from the old adage, “Desperate times call for desperate measures.” On Jan. 24, the New York Post reported that “union goons resorted to outrageous tactics to browbeat hotel employees into joining their ranks — going so far as to photograph a female staffer as she changed clothes in an employee locker room, apparently to blackmail her.”

Had this been an isolated incident, I might have overlooked it -- but it wasn’t. Each day brings reports of union members intimidating bystanders, destroying property, even storming the doorstep of private residences and terrorizing those hiding within. It’s finally reached the point where the only thing distinguishing union rank and file from Wall Street “occupiers” is their name. The foul language, outrageous acts and over-the-top tactics are identical. What’s worse, government agencies appear to encourage this behavior.

Perhaps I missed it, but I don’t think this article mentions one of the most outrageous regulations recently imposed on private sector businesses by the 0bama regime through the NLRB; The MANDATORY POSTING of signs in the workplace encouraging employees to form labor unions.

“I have no problem with private-sector unions,” Santorum said in his remarks on Thursday. “I think they play a role in society.”

Nope! You didn’t miss it at all! I’d heard the same rumor but was unable to confirm. I also checked with several medium-sized manufacturers, and they weren’t aware of anything like this either.

Here’s a link which discusses that NLRB mandate informing (encouraging) small business employees to form unions:

Very much appreciated. This reminds me of John Stossel’s latest program, where he indicated that we’re all guilty of something at any given time. When I heard about this, I actually consulted the NLRB’s “turf” of the Code of Federal Regulations but was unable to find anything (I’ve always hated researching the CFRs).
Thanks again!! I’ll inform those manufacturers I talked to also.
