At this stage in the GOP primary, few within the Tea Party are certain which is the best among a questionable group of candidates—so questionable that many believe the frontrunner, Mitt Romney, wouldn’t even be in the race if voters weren’t continually being told he had the best chance to defeat Obama.

According to economist and Tea Party expert, Stephen Johnston, a Juris Doctorate with Theological degree, therein lies the issue at hand. For most hardworking, taxpaying Americans, at all costs, the outcome in November must be an Obama defeat...

The problem with ALL of these candidates is that they have NO AGENDA for restoring America. Their only AGENDA is to ‘BE PRESIDENT’. Then they will worry about doing anything having to do with the “people’s agenda”.

Someone who actually HAS an AGENDA, and who has forcefully spoken openly about such a “people’s agenda” is not running (now). That person’s name is... SARAH PALIN!

You are in error. Newt has laid out a very specific agenda for restoring America. Moreover, he has the practical experience and knowledge to implement it, and the vision to campaign in the general with an eye towards getting the needed majorities in Congress.

As much as many would love to see that happen. Short of her being drafted in an open convention, because she has played this too long, I see her best bet would be for her and Newt to make a special announcment that Sarah is teaming up as Newt’s VP. That alone would jump Newt right to the top leaving Mitt to wonder what hit him.

Who doesn’t agree that Santorem is a really nice guy, but its highly unlikely he’ll get the nomination. So in the real world we have Newt and Mitt. Mitt for damn sure just wants to be President.

I can’t see the Republican nominee picking Sarah Palin the VP slot and risking a re-run of the insanity last election cycle (not that the Dems won’t try whoever gets it).

I could see her as Interior Secretary so that she can use her expertise in the energy sector. But then they’d have to get her past the Senate. Might not be too much of a problem if the Senate swings Republican as expected.

The insanity in 2008 was not Sarah’s making nor because of her. I really don’t think she’ll be interested any longer, having made enough to live the way her and Todd like and not have to put up with the stupidity of national politics.
