Breitbart’s Last Laugh
Weekly Standard ^ | 3-1-12 | MATT LABASH

Posted on 03/02/2012 4:00:17 AM PST by radioone

I woke up this morning to about ten emails from journalist friends asking if our mutual friend, Andrew Breitbart, was really dead. “Really” was the operative word. Some meant it in the traditional sense: Is it possible for the human inferno that Breitbart resembled to have actually been extinguished at age 43, leaving his elegant wife Susie and his four beloved children behind? Several, however, meant it as in: Is Andrew really dead? Many of us didn’t know if we could trust the announcement, thinking this could be another Breitbart caper, as he always had two or three in his back pocket.

By way of greeting, I used to ask Breitbart what kind of evil he was up to.

“Most kinds,” he’d say, gamely.

I think he was so effective that he was murdered... and there are those that openly wanted him gone.

There are some touchy Hussein Heads here, too. There is an alleged freeper who made it personally about me yesterday because I remembered the November 2001 plane crash in NYC was IMMEDIATELY declared an accident.

touchy Hussein Heads

Does that translate to Obama supporters? And just who would they be?

This freak made it all personal and continued to JUST me after this post.

Please stop with the conspiracy theories. His father-in-law and the medical center would have to be a part of it.

He had a history of heart problems as his family and friends have said. He was doing a grueling book tour besides his other work.

This column really was a nice remembrance, it really gives insight into what made him tick. The insight about the school clock is very revealing into how he saw things.

So that makes him an Obama supporter, or "Hussein Head" as you put it....

...and nobody here has the right to believe that maybe, just maybe, Andrew may actually have died from natural causes such as a heart attack.

kcvl is hardly a “freak” or “Hussein Head” (whatever that means) and you should know by now that it’s a FR courtesy to ping fellow FReepers that you bring up in discussion.

NPR (National Propaganda Radio) morning edition did not mention A.B. neither of the last 2 mornings. Ignoring, lest they have to mention the bad news on the way for the Kenyan , which they will downplay when the koran hits the fan.

Do you suppose Breitbart is the red wheel barrow? He wasn’t the chicken that most of the press is.

You are right, except for the fact they spent 4 minutes and 30 seconds on the story yesterday. I know because I heard it...and was surprised.

Nickname, What you said :)

Calling kcvl a “freak” or “Hussein Head” tells the rest of us you have no idea what it means to be a freeper.

Taking it to other threads is childish.

Taking it to other threads without a courtesy ping is low.

This comment:

“I was flattered and encouraged when one alleged freeper talked down hard to me today for my merely mentioning that the November 2001 plane crash in NYC was immediately judged to be an accident.”

from this thread
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2853199/posts?page=9#9

puts you in the probable poser/troll category.

This article really captures some of the personality of Breitbart that none of us would know. He sounds like a really good guy. One you would want to hang out with. I hope his wife and kids are well provided for.

His efforts and voice will be hard to replace, if it can be
replaced at all in today's times.

Whatever. I don’t need to kowtow to what other people tell me to do here.

I have done nothing offensive. Keep telling me I have, if it makes you feel better.

Call me a poser/troll if it makes you feel better. Read my posts if you care. I certainly don’t.

The freak picked MY post among hundreds suspicious of the circumstances of AB’s death and made it about me personally and talked down to me just for commenting about the November 2001 plane crash that was immediately declared an accident.

The fact that he has knee-jerk supporters bothers me none.

Call me childish and talk down to me if it makes you feel better.

Again, please don’t think I care about your admonishments.

If they really wanted him gone, then they could not have chosen a better time. His death sucked the air out of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s press conference on Obamao’s forged documents.

I am not saying it was done, but the timing could not have been better.

I don’t think his death sucked the air out of Arpaio’s press conference. It actually enlivened it, given that Breitbart had interviewed Arpaio the night before, and that was reported by Jerome Corsi at the press conference. So, the timing of Breitbart’s death enhanced the drama of the press conference.

Nothing offensive?

Man up and use kcvl’s name instead of “the freak.” If you are going to take it to other threads, have the nads to extend a courtesy ping. There is such a thing as freeper ettiquette.

Regardless, kcvl doesn't need me to defend him/her. This isn't even my argument, but sometimes I can't help myself. I'm done

Your man picked me out of a couple hundred other posters, most of whom were saying much more than just noticing how the 11/01 plane crash was immediately declared an accident, and he made it personal.

Nope, I’ve done nothing offensive.

Thanks for being done.

Maybe I was getting a different feed or the story was overstepped while they heckled listeners for money. I’ll try to find it on their website. Thx for the straiten out.
