Jews endured and survived all the genocidal 'Hamans' since slavery in Egypt...

Jews [Hebrews/Israelites] endured and survived all the genocidal 'Hamans' since slavery in Egypt...

* Pharaoh (his decree to throw all Hebrew children into the river, as written in Exodus).

* Haman (wished to annihilate all Jews, men women and children, as elaborated in Esther).

* Hitler (wishing to "erase" the Jewish ethnicity/origin).

* [Arab-Islamic Mufti of "Palestine"] Haj Amin al-Husseini (from his "holy" nazi sermons in Berlin during WW2: "Kill all Jews, weherever you find them, this pleases Allah..")

* Rafsanjani/Ahmadinejad/Khamenei (Rafsanjani: "One bomb is enough to destroy all Israel"; Ahmadinejad: "Wipe off map;" Khamenei: "cancerous... must be cut").

That’s why most Jewish holidays essentially boil down to: “They tried to kill us. They failed. Let’s eat.”

And it wasn’t the Jews that could save themselves, it was God.

Give glory to God - the purose of the holidays.

Everyone has this option now, because of Jesus Christ.

Israel needn’t bomb Iran - it need only repent of it’s offensive-to-God ways, ways we are so many of us guilty now too and subject to a coming wrath for Justice as well.

Bad things happen to good people even if they repent all of the offensive-to-God's-way sins just like good things happen to bad people that will never repent their evil ways.

As the greeks say, "Trust in God but row away from the rocks".

Most people operate under the mistaken notion that the modern state of Israel is the "Israel of God." (Galatians 6:16). Here's the truth:
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16)
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

The modern state of Israel can be vaporized off the face of the earth, but this will not impact God's plan, because "they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for seed." (Romans 9:8). "What if GOd, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?" (Romans 9:23)

Can you show me which verse(s) support your assertion?

Their only hope is to receive the gospel from faithful believers.

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtrained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. (Romans 11:30-32)

We are definitely to be faithful to share the gospel with ALL non-believers.

The point is that he isn't done with Israel or the Jewish people. Far from it according to Romans 11. Romans 11:1-2 "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew..." And in the very end of the age an entire remnant of Israel will witness the Lord's return and cry "Baruch Haba Bashem Adonai!"

For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew..."

You should not have stopped reading. (:5ff)

"Even so at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6* And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7* What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it (Romans 11:5-7b)

God foreknew who would respond in faith. These are the children of promise, not the children of the flesh. Jesus in chapter 6 of John says that the faithful sons of Abraham who know God, will know him and accept him.

Here are some other verses confirming just who Israel really is:

16* Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17* And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18* For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise...28* There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29* And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:16-29)

There is now neither Jew nor Gentile, according to the flesh, but simply spiritual Israel, according to the promise. Modern day Israel is a country of non-believers. It is NOT the Israel of God (and it is blasphemy to say so: see Revelation 2:8, 3:9)

“ROMANS 11: GOD HAS NOT REJECTED HIS PEOPLE, SO NEITHER SHOULD THE CHURCH!”

First, I'd like to know what you think what verse Romans 9:6 means, specifically the last half "...for not all Israel, is of Israel.".

I read the first article. Here are my issues with it.

There will come a time when the entire nation of Israel, not just the faithful remnant, will accept Messiah and reach fulfillment. ...This partial hardening of the Jewish people will not last forever. Once the full number of Gentiles from all the nations have been grafted into the Jewish Olive Tree of Salvation and Blessing, God's Spirit will be poured out on Israel so that the entire nation will turn to faith in Yeshua as the Messiah! Paul reinforces this by quoting Isaiah's prophecy (Isaiah 59:20-21) that the Deliverer will come from Zion and remove the sins of Jacob (the Jewish people). All Israel will be saved (the Jewish generation that is alive at the Second Coming) by turning to the Savior and Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah!

This shows that they do not understand Romans 9:6: “Not as though the word of God has none effect. For they are not all Isreal, which are of Israel. “ (Romans 9:6b).

Nor do they understand Romans 11. 11:24 is not a promise that physical Israel will be regrafted in. It is a threat that might happen, but not necessarily. 11:25 simply states that some Jews will be saved (blindness in part) until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. This is followed by 11:26 which is NOT a promise that ALL physical Israel will be saved, but rather that ALL the Israel of God will be saved, that is, ALL the children of promise, including physical descendents of Abraham and Gentiles, but only those who believe.

The Jewish branches will in fact be grafted back in! For I do not want you, brothers, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins”.

See how they twist 11:24 and :25. The prophecy mentioned in 11:26 is in the future tense, because it looks forward to the first coming of the Messiah. When we read this quotation, we should not think of it as a future prophesy, but one that has already been fulfilled. When Jesus comes again, it will not be to save “unbelieving Jews”. They didn’t recognize Messiah the first time. When he returns the second time on the great and terrible day of the Lord, it will be too late, for he comes in wrath. (see Matthew 24, Mark 13, Revelation 7, Revelation 14).

I think many will mistakenly recognize the son of perdition (the anti-christ) as the Messiah. (2 Thess 2:3,4 and Matthew 24:24). Real believers will not be deceived. Who will? Everyone else, including unbelieving Jews who are looking for the Messiah. They’re going to get one, but not Jesus Christ. The time for the unbelieving Jew to receive mercy is now at the foot of cross, before the "fullness of the Gentiles comes in." The church doesn’t replace Israel. Israel is always who it has been: the children of promise, those who believe in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

The Lord's plan for the nation of Israel and his original covenant people will be completed by Him and for His glory, unabetted by replacement doctrine.

In the meantime, Maranatha!:)

“Baruch Haba Bashem Adonai!”
