The U.S. Air Force is pulling nine cargo aircraft from military operations to support President Barrack Obamas stepped-up visits to campaign events.
The five medium-capacity C-130s and four heavyweight C-17s will be used to ferry security vehicles, armored limousines and communications gear into cities ahead of Obamas campaign appearances.
In the months before November, the president is expected to fly into multiple cities per week, and speak at multiple sites per day. On Mar. 8, for example, the president will fly to Richmond, and then drive over to a Rolls-Royce aircraft-parts factory. That evening, hell fly down to Houston, Texas.

I guess he finally found a reason to like the military—best travel service around. I can’t believe this country elected this vile fraud, and will likely re-elect him this year. Disgusting.
That being the case, it could be the last election we have to worry about.
We've already seen several examples in 2012 of how the media can create a firestorm to benefit Obama or his agenda--Komen vs. PP, the initial handling of the Obama/Sebelius mandate on birth control and the phony "accommodation," the Fluke dog-and-pony show and the "outrage" whipped up against Rush Limbaugh.
It's only going to be more intense as we closer to November, especially if they see any danger that Obama may lose.
We will continue to have elections for the same reason that Napoleon liked to have plebiscites—to create the illusion of public endorsement. Plus they are good for the media. After this year, if Obama wins, the presidential elections may be more like those in Venezuela, Zimbabwe, or Russia than the elections we have had in the past.
And we thought Clinton “loathed the Miltary”. Sheesh.
OTOH, he’s going to need allies, and guess who won’t be among them.
Wonder how many extra's were allocated to Bush, and if they stood up even one extra squadron, let alone two.
I mean, a radio host called some girl a slut last week!
You have managed to capture the essence of American journalism in just one line. REEEEmarkable.
