And if he loses, he will do as much damage as he can between Nov. 6 and Jan. 20. On Dec 21, 2012, Obama will have had a little over a month to stew in his humiliating, crushing and unexpected defeat at the hands of the American people.
Hell still be Commander in Chief.
Hell still have the nuclear football. Just sitting there. Staring at him. Taunting him. Daring him...

Another question. If all Presidents have these why would he wait until the 4th year of his term to put one together?

I have been on the road all day listening to every talk show I could find. I am enraged that no one is screaming about this.
That especially applies to the republican contenders who should be fighting for the stage to announce that they would repeal this immediately. It seems like a paraphrase of the Hugo Chavez governance plan.
Where is the outspoken libertarian?

Brett Baier carried the story tonight on Fox. However, the story was mostly a report how people are reading too much into it and that is because it was released on Friday which gave room for speculation.

If we are reading too much into it, which seems to mean it's not that important; WHY WAS IT WRITTEN?
...and if we are reading too much into it, then surely it's not too much to ask for a repeal.

Slow down brother. I went ballistic too, until I did my homework. This has been pretty much the same verbiage, same EO, since about Reagan.
Yes, it's worse in Obama's hands, but the EO only allows for analysis of policy, not implementation.
See more here.
And we know Hot Air is no Politico Obama-butt-boy-outfit.

No, the problem is that the powers the President wields are far in excess of Constitutional permits regardless of who sits in the White House. George W. Bush was just as bad in that regard. Most folks just don't know how badly they've been had, much less for how long.

Much has been said about this EO. I admit my blood boiled when I first read it.
However, gaining some perspective, this is an updated rehash of EOs issued by Clinton and Bush. The most level, fair critique I've read is the one at Hot Air titled, "National Defense Resources Preparedness" executive order: Power grab or mere update?
