WITNESS: ZIMMERMAN SHOT TRAYVON MARTIN IN SELF-DEFENSE
THE FREEDOM POST ^ | March 25, 2012 | Matthew Burke

Posted on 03/25/2012 3:33:02 PM PDT by SaveOurRepublicFromTyranny

This news goes largely unreported, as race-hustling vultures, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, swoop onto the scene to exploit the tragic shooting for personal publicity and political gain, appointing themselves as judge and jury in the Trayvon Martin shooting case. President Obama is promoting a race war by inferring that Martin was practically his own son: "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon." He might as well as said, "When you kill Trayvon, you've killed my own son. If you support me, retaliate!"

“If Zimmmerman gets off, there will be riots. Just like in the trial of Rodney King.”

Well, gosh, then we had better simply shoot Zimmerman before THAT happens. /s

Nothing like a bunch of angry idiots burning down their own neighborhoods.

Code Toad, don't be silly. You know very well that Zimmerman shot Martin.

If you have a contrary opinion you will need to explain it in some detail. Martin is currently unavailable to tell his side.

YOu have always had a problem with reading comprehension. I never said Zimmerman didn’t shoot Martin, so don’t go lying about what I said. Try reading my comments again and get back to us.

IF you've bothered to go through the names of the owners in that neighborhood you would be compelled to think of it as one of the world's more mixed and integrated neighborhoods.

Zimmerman and Martin (when he visited his dad) really weren't far from total integration ~ Zimmerman maybe a little bit more than Martin.

The idea that Zimmerman shot Martin out of racial anger is ridiculous. He shot him for several reasons (1) He had a gun, and (2) Martin appears to have commited self-defense (his defense was that he was not in violation of any laws ~ see the statute).

The stand your ground law doesn't guarantee that the other person is going to respect you for that.

YEs, that's what you said. REad what you are saying is a lie.

When you said that was a lie you said the whole thing was a lie, and that statement said "Zimmerman shot Martin".

Not to be all that literal minded with you but you're the guy who calls everything everybody else says a "lie" ~

You are responding to somebody else's post, or an idea in your head, I never suggested that.

“Like I’ve been pointing out ~ much to the distress of a number of Freepers who want them to make sure Zimmerman is left alone ~ the simplest story here is Zimmerman follows (or tracks) Martin. Zimmerman shoots Martin.”

Your story leaves out how Zimmerman ended up on his back, with grass stains, a broken nose and bleeding from the back of his head...

I think you just hit on something. Isn’t the republican convention in Florida?

Read the entire sentence in its context and not just the phrase, “...that’s when he gets shot.” Go ahead. Read it out loud to yourself, s l o w l y. Read the part about, “Then when Martin tries to defend himself from the stalker ...” Go ahead. We’ll wait.

Freepers who want them to make sure Zimmerman is left alone

I can't speak for anyone else, but I only want to ensure Zimmerman is arrested and charged with a crime only upon probable cause that an actual crime was committed, rather than upon suppositions, innuendo, theoretical events and pitchfork mob rule.

To me personally, nothing is more sacred than life. Any time a life is ended, I am saddened. However, no matter how sad or horrific something is, we are a nation of laws, and it is upon laws that we should rely when discussing depriving someone of their liberty.

If we give in to this pitchfork mob mentality, or "living room prosecutor" syndrome, our nation is ended.

Just my opinion.

Yes, the convention is in Tampa. I believe in September. The basic problem facing "The Hoodies" is maintaining black hysteria until late summer. They could postpone Zimmerman's arrest until July or preferably August. Then when Zimmerman is arraigned blacks could show up at the court wearing "Hoodies" and waiving "Skittles." The aforementioned would be enough to cause the then joined "Hoodie" and "Occupy Wall Street" groups to rage in the streets and disrupt the convention.

Sheila Jackson-Acorn-Head was waiving around a bag of Skittles yesterday. I’d hate to admit I was a member of a party that has people like her in it.

You said “each a prejudiced hothead” ~ I disagree completely. This was done with cold blooded calculation. There’s the hunter and there’s the prey. The Romans used to say “Homo homini lupus est “

You put too many conditions in each sentence.

Try this one ~ Zimmerman couldn't have done more to disrupt the Republican National Presidential Nominating Convention than if he'd tossed a bomb.

He's supposed to be a registered Democrat and a hard-core Obama supporter.

Treyvon may have been the wrong guy in the wrong place ~ but that doesn't mean something wasn't going to happen at that housing development that evening.

I didn’t mean prejudiced racially, just prejudiced against common stereotypes. We can disagree, but we really don’t know for certain.

Please clarify, are you seriesly implying, because it sure looks like you are, that Zimmerman shooting Martin was a political ploy to affect the Republican Convention?

Really?

Why not? Democrats are facing the possibility of their being put almost totally out of business in the next election.

I don't think they can be trusted. As you saw today Obama is getting ready to trade the Poles to the Russians again.

Nothing is beyond your modern Democrat, including murdering a kid. They do that every day anyway ~ they have no morals
