Marco Rubio endorses Mitt Romney (RINO Spring migration continues)

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio endorsed Mitt Romney for president Tuesday night on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News.

"I am gonna endorse Mitt Romney. He offers such a start contrast to the president's record," the senator said.

"I have zero doubt in my mind: No. 1 that he will govern as a conservative, and No. 2 that he will be head and shoulders above the president in the White House right now."

On rumors he's on the short list to be vice president, Rubio said,"I don't believe I'm going to be asked ... that's not what I want."

“So who should have he endorsed?? “

No one at this point. Romney is a shape shifting liberal and barely different than Comrade Obama.
Possibly a miracle could happen at the convention.

Boy, he really went out on a limb there, didn’t he? He didn’t make an endorsement earlier when it could have held more weight; he waited until Romney is starting to seem more and more inevitable and endorses him. The establishment is uniting around “their” guy, and everyone is getting in line.

Why did Rubio have to endorse anyone? He could have kept his mouth shut and let us still think he’s a conservative. But as was said, he, like most of the others who have endorsed Romney, is looking for some position in Romney’s administration. Like the others, Rubio has betrayed us conservatives for some personal gain.

Too bad. I had high hopes fof Rubio, but in the end he’s like all the others. I hope his constituents remember that should he run for office again in the future.

It is time to unite behind Romney. Sitting at home and whining about Romney will just lead to another four years of Obama. Obama has been the biggest disaster this country has ever seen. Can you “die hard” conservatives really say that Romney would be just as bad as Romney?

I will be voting for Romney in November. Our country cannot take another four years of this pathetic, anti-American administration.

Very good! A very clever way to point out how ridiculous some people on FR are starting to sound. Yesterday’s Tea Party hero is a “RINO” today because they don’t like something he said. The loons around here screaming about how Romney is a socialist just like Obama need to get a grip.

Since you’re so concerned about Rubio’s “RINO” status, perhaps you should slink back to DU and support Obama....

To those that support Romney, I have a question. What in his record would indicate that he would govern as a conservative? Please, do not give me his rhetoric or say that he would be better than Obama.

We need a new party, a truly conservative party. Let the Republican party wither and die on the vine.

Trying to start a 3rd party would be a mistake.
Rather than start another party ,conservatives should take over the Republican party by working for conservative candidates.

The Socialists and Communists did that with he Democrat party starting in earnest around 1965. It took along time to bring down the Democrat party but it worked.
The Socialists and Communists could never get elected with an S or C behind their name; they needed a D or an R. Conservatives will need an R behind their name.- tom

Yawn.

This election has been lost for months now. We systematically destroyed every single declared candidate, and the obvious survivor all along was Romney.

Sucks that it has played out exactly as I figured it would, but we decided we hated each other more than we hated Obama.

Now we have a squishy moderate that absolutely no one likes to be our standard bearer against the worst President in history.

It took a lot of work for us to find a candidate who could lose to this man by a landslide, but the GOP got 'er done. Great work guys.

Wake me up when the nightmare is over, if we still have a country to wake up to.

I don’t care who backs Romney. My mind has been made up that I will not vote for him. He doesn’t even care about the middle of the country and the south. After wins in Florida and Arizona, he abandoned the south. The Guy is a example of all that is wrong with the GOP. Everyday the constitution party looks like a better option for 2012 for me since Romney is going to be force fed down people’s throats. Understand that Romney, along with Huntsman, Paul, and Perry, was one of the candidates I could absolutely never vote for. And since he is leading the race and might win. Nightmare scenario. I will do what is in my best interest.

“you need to live in the real world..”

Oh you mean the real world of Mr “$50 abortions” being the nominee of our party?
That real world?

For the job most say they don’t want, many are vp-wannabes.

Too bad the top stop doesn’t draw many worthy candidates.

****

Except with Romney as the Republican candidate, Obama won’t be going anywhere.
