Obamacare dead on arrival?

We thought we’d celebrate today, just in case all the indicators prove false and the Supreme Court decides to uphold Obamacare. Judging from the reactions, even on the left, including the left-learning press, it seems likely the justices will put an end to President Barack Obama’s signature legislative triumph – the one you had to pass so you could find out what’s in it. It seems the justices, or at least enough of them, read it and found out. And didn’t much care for what they discovered. Here’s the news . . .

I wouldn’t call it DOA. It’s been around for a while. I realize it wasn’t supposed to rev up until three years in, or whatever. But supposedly they’ve been taxing us for it all along. And it was the Democrats’ plan to have us think “What, that old thing?” by the time it could be either shot down by SCOTUS or overturned by a new Congress.

Maybe it’s paranoid, but I feel like we are being set up by the media. Then the law will “unexpectedly” be upheld. Maybe I have gotten too cynical.

I'm not a Ron Paul fan, but my friend is and she said he's predicting that the USSC will uphold the entire law...mandate and all.

Say good-bye to our country if he's right!

That is going to be a great day in American history!

After the Democrats crammed that down our throats, to see it ruled unconstitutional will be fantastic!

I’m thinkin’ a certain Biden quote would be fitting. Perhaps something about some sort of a deal.

the only “unexpectedlys” I recall are Republican/Christian/Conservative anything standing.

For the MSM and their narrative, they are in the middle, and it’s US that’s “extreme”.

No, the individual mandate is unconstitutional and the only question is whether the entire law is struck down or just that part.

Without the mandate, the Law becomes mute.

Many Conservatives did not think that the 2nd Amendment would be upheld by the Supreme Court, either but it was.

This Law is so poorly conceived that the Judges know that if they don't strike it down, it will go down as a Dred Scott decision and ruin their own legacy.

It was designed to be rejected.
The preemptive strike was when during the State Of The Union address Chairman Obamakov verbally assaulted the SCOTUS. That was deliberate and calculated.
It sets up the Community Organizer-Alinsky tactic of divisive atmosphere.
The propaganda machine will swing into action proclaiming the rejection of Obamacare was not ruled on legal grounds, but ruled via vindictiveness.
The OWS armies will protest for “justice”, riot, and we have martial law declared.
Result:
Checkmate by Kruschev.

It’s clear where Obama and Breyer and their ilk would like to take us. To a place where elites decide for everyone what they must have, must buy and consequently, must not have or buy.

According to the Madisonian interpretation, which is the strict, constructionist theory, that Congress can do nothing more than vote to spend tax dollars, as designated by the Constitution's enumerated powers.

But libtards believe in the Hamiltonian interpretation, that the Commerce clause created the implied power to police, tax, and encourage all those undertakings covered by the words trade, manufacturing, finance, and even agriculture. For them, that includes the word insurance also.

Don’t disregard that the AHIC dissed the Supremes in a state of the Union Address. If I was Alito, I would think to myself that I will piss on your kenyan willows..
