In the WPA poll, 39 percent said they believe Trayvon Martin was "minding his own business" when he was attacked. Just 18 percent said they thought "Zimmerman was attacked" by the teen.

Seems a bit "pat" to be true. Easy enough to fake that twitter page, is it not?
Even without that, it is amazing how manipulable the public is - how trusting it is of a lying media. If the media had given a balanced presentation (which, in my opinion, it is incapable of doing, AND unwilling), there is no way 72% would have thought Zimmerman should be arrested in the first place.
That damn Constitution getting in the way again!
Now he will probably survive mob rule.
Something needs to be done about that constitution so we don't have time to change our minds and let innocent people get away and make a mockery out of Al Sharpton and the gang.

I’m part of that 25% decrease; I changed *my* mind based on new evidence that has come to light.
And it also points out how the MSM decided to push this story.
With so many tragic events, shootings, crime stories, people being killed, why did the MSM hone in on this story, and decide to give saturation coverage to it?
There have been so many stories about this in the news, in magazines, on the internet.
Trayvon Martin is the cover story of People magazine this week.
Soledad O’Brien on CNN had her panties in a twist last night as she did a special on this case.
I think the media ran with the story because they thought it was a case of a white racist shooting an innocent young black man for no reason.
The name George Zimmerman sounds like a white man. In fact he’s Hispanic. So they decided to call him a white Hispanic to keep the racial angle alive in the case.
As many here have observed, there have been so many gang related shootings and killings, almost all victims and perpetrators black, yet they focus on this one rare case to convince us that the biggest threat to young black men is a racist with a gun.
In fact, the biggest threat to young black men are other black men with guns. But that doesn’t fit into the template of how America is racist and all of that.

I actually went to Sanford today around 1:30. They have a nice market downtown and it was as busy as ever. After some shopping I stopped in the grocery store next to where they were loading the out of town buses from the protest. Seemed to be a rather small crowd of mostly women. I think the actual citizens of Sanford are tired of the protesting and have just decided to get on with business as usual. I think the MSM is worried that people may start paying attention to Obama’s failures so they are desperately trying to create more controversy.
looks like the truths the media tried so desperately to hide are being picked up on by the populace. that must really make the media angry. hee hee, hope so.

The blacks screaming these lies -- like that MSNBC "reporter" ranting to what's his name, a white MSNBC reporter -- know but are too ashamed to admit the real source of their anger and embarrassment; to wit, fellow Africans and Arab Muslims hauling their ancestors off in ropes for sale to Europeans.
Then spending two-hundred-plus years before getting in position to be freed and then only because whites turned the slaves loose.
Though many American-born ancestors' of blacks had achieved freedom on their own long before 1865 the vast majority of blacks had to be freed by whites.
Perhaps the ones who escaped or otherwise got freedom mostly on their own -- perhaps they are the conservatives of today.
The ones flocking to Sharpton, Jackson, and other black radicals are the descendants of those turned loose by the white man in 1865. They are looking for special treatment and favors, hating the white man and hating blacks who "act white." They don't want to get along, they want to get even.
It won't be a violent-crime-based issue. The Trayvon Martin story is about to peter out, "old news" or "fatigue" being used to relegate further coverage to the classified ad section. Can't have the media mendacity shown by prominent correction.

That alleged screen-cap smells. It’s dated January 6th: more than a month and a half prior to the killing. Yet, he wouldn’t have been in Sanford at that time, he would have been at home in Miami. He was in a 5-day suspension when he was in Sanford. Assuming it was the last night he would be staying in Sanford, he couldn’t have arrived prior to Feb 21st: still a month and 15 days between the alleged tweet and Trayvon’s arrival in Sanford....

I don't think so. I think it's a more modern phenomenon. Communism, Marxism, leftism, progressivism - whatever, in many forms. There is an appeal to the worst parts of human nature, and unfortunately, PT Barnum (or whoever said it) was right - "a sucker born every minute." Here we have many lined up with a lottery mentality, "owed reparations," something for nothing. And Johnson's "Great Society" enabled that to grow and fester.
