That was from Senator Richard Burr, way back when the party was just getting started.

I guess that was more or less the official response to people questioning obama's eligibility. I heard people in other states received a similar form letter.

I was hoping for a better, maybe more Constitutional response from the republicans, but instead it was a 'the fix is in' moment for me.

Just wonder what 'the fix' is...shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out.

A little more thought on "Progressive" RINO Senator Richard Burr's Jan 15, 2009 statement from here.
So you wonder what the "fix" was. Remember that at that time the Senate was in a Democrat majority, hence the Democrats chose who sat on the Committee Seats.
Then look at all the 2009 federal stimulus funding earmarked for NC the bought RINO Senator Richard Burr's support to cover up Obama's Kenyian Birth.
