Tax Freedom Day, the date representing the point each year when Americans have earned enough to pay all their taxes, won't be reached this year until April 17, four days later than last year. In California, it's even later.

We are slaves. If you pay property tax,then you are in effect paying rent to the local government.
Every person who is on welfare or works for the government is our boss. We work while they buy big screen TVs or go on junkets on our dime. We dont have any real say how the money spent.
Enough is enough....

The law provided a contrived market to sell permits to allow emitting of these greenhouse gases. The proceeds were intended to cover costs of administering the emission-control program.
