Obama Exec Order Takes Natural Gas Away From States
The White House ^ | 04/13/2012 | Barack Obama

Posted on 04/16/2012 7:05:51 AM PDT by TexasVoter

Because efforts to promote safe, responsible, and efficient development of unconventional domestic natural gas resources are underway at a number of executive departments and agencies (agencies), close interagency coordination is important for effective implementation of these programs and activities. To formalize and promote ongoing interagency coordination, this order establishes a high-level, interagency working group that will facilitate coordinated Administration policy efforts to support safe and responsible unconventional domestic natural gas development.

Wake up, Sunshine! It's a new day.

When the White House wants to slip something by us, they "put it out with the trash" on Friday afternoon after the reporters have gone home for the weekend.

This past Friday, Barry Soetoro Obama took control of the natural gas industry - because states aren't where it's at, baby.

Now when the Sierra Club issues a memo saying fracking causes earthquakes, there is only one switch that has to be thrown to shut things down.

In my bones I can feel another “kiss my a$$” moment from the states along with an accompanying Supreme Court fight. Pure evil at work in the White House.

The tea party was over TAXATION of tea.

The tyrant has taken control of our bodies, our foods,
our transportation, our future health care,
our justice system, and free enterprise itself ...
for his Communist-Islamic, undocumented, purposes.

Happy Patriots’ Day.

That foreign enemy styling himself "President" just keeps poking the states with a sharp stick.

WHEN are the states going to fight back?

I mean the doctrine of INTERPOSITION, not some panty-waist filing in some kangaroo statutory-jurisdiction federal court.

It is time to throw the agents of the Federal government OUT of the several states. Peacefully, if they will go peacefully. But go they must. Forcefully, if necessary.

When?

If I was governor Good-Hair this morning (heaven forbid), I’d put out a press release noting this E.O and re-assert that under the 10th Amendment, the State of Texas is responsible for what goes on within state boundaries. And, that anyone attempting to enforce this unconstitutional executive order would be escorted to the border by Texas Rangers and unceremoniously dumped on the other side.

With all the technological developments under the "fracking" umbrella it truly is a revolution in extracting technologies.

This EO could stop all that in it's tracks IMHO.

All the out of the box news sources have been notified, yet not a single word on it from Beck, Drudge, Brietbart, BI, Zero Hedge etc.

Are they overwhelmed with all the "change" and it's bad news and can't keep up?

More gov’t jobs.

I spoke with someone involved in NG drilling about a week ago. He said there’s such a surplus sitting around (like enough for the next 50yrs or more), that NO ONE is drilling and he’s looking for another line of work.

I can't say about the other states, but North Dakota has over a million dollars set aside for just such a fight. We do a fine job here of regulating and developing our own industry, and we damned sure don't need Federal 'help' to do so. They almost have more agencies involved than we have regulators. Our people are efficient and hardworking. Theirs won't know a wellhead from bucket of warm spit.
