Yahoo is censoring TheObamaFile.com
The Obama File ^ | 4/19/2012 | Beckwith

Yup! Big, rich Yahoo is indeed censoring The Obama File, and it appears, because of the quickness of the delete, that it is being done under software control (automatically).

Now, the question is:

Did Yahoo choose to censor The Obama File on its own, or are they responding to orders from Team Obama?

i imagine it is being tagged as a ‘bot posting. since it is a comment a line return then a link. They probably have associated the user with the site and determined programatically that they are ‘blog pimping’ in the comments. That being said it’s Yahoo’s tech they have the right and unsurprisingly do/will edit whatever they see fit.

Possibly, but you're guessing.

Remember, I was alerted to this censorship by a third party who had her comments deleted whenever she posted comments with a link to TheObamaFile.com.

I never go to Yahoo.

You can easily prove or disprove this item's heading by trying it yourself.

And here's Yahoo News http://news.yahoo.com/

Yep, you can prove it yourself, which I did.

It did delete the post, but also a post with a non-political link. Could it be that Yahoo just deletes any post with a link in it, and is not singling out TheObamaFile??

That’s a real possibility.

I just tried that and it did delete a post with a link to Business Week.

I apologize for crying wolf, Yahoo just doesn’t like links.
