Today, Parts 1, 2 & 3.
Now that moderate former Massachusetts Governor Mitt is the presumptive Republican nominee for President, many conservatives are asking “What should I do now that it looks like Republicans will not nominate a conservative candidate for President?”
First, don’t be Mitt Romney’s cheap date.
The grassroots movement conservative voters who powered the Santorum campaign can not be taken for granted. During the 2006 congressional elections some 4 million conservative voters stayed home, producing one of the greatest defeats for the Republican Party in the modern era.
Some conservatives were quick to endorse Mitt Romney now that the nomination looks settled. They got it exactly backwards – conservatives should not be rushing to embrace Romney; Romney should be rushing to embrace conservatives.
No one wants to stay home during this important election cycle, however, Mitt Romney has given little evidence he wants, and is willing to work for, conservative support.
If Mitt Romney wants the support of grassroots conservatives and Tea Partiers, the next six moves are up to him.
So far there’s no new sign that a Romney administration will result in the kind of fiscally sound, constitutionally conservative government that conservatives saw coming from the other candidates in the race.
Second, redouble conservative efforts to takeover the Republican Party.
Time after time during the Republican primary election cycle grassroots conservatives and Tea Partiers saw establishment Republican Party officials put their thumb on the scale to tip the balance in Mitt Romney’s favor.
To prevent this from happening again, and to build a Republican Party leadership that truly represents its conservative base, Tea Partiers and grassroots conservative activists must redouble their efforts to takeover the Republican Party.
This means running for positions in the Republican Party organization – starting with precinct committeeman or woman – and getting involved in the local Republican Party organization.

This is what the big media wanted and they got it.
The GOP doesn’t intend to take the white house and deal with Obama’s rabid mob. Obviously that means Obama will win but we can still take the down ticket races if we’re smart about it.
That means encouraging 3rd party and write in voters to get to the polls and vote their choices but make sure to voter in the house and senate races.
That doesn't work. The GOP-E owns the rule book, and they will cheat and change the rules and do whatever is required to sideline a true conservative.
It's a nice thought, though.

The GOP-E is well on its way to getting the same thing as 2006.
I will also be voting for Dan Liljenquist over Senator Orrin Hatch. He's a strong conservative, like our other Senator Mike Lee. Hatch thought he'd be skating through this election process without having to primary. Thanks to Mr. Liljenquist, Hatch is going to have to primary.
It’s pretty simple really. If you’re a conservative and don’t vote for Romney then you have voted for Obama. If you write in your conservative “dream” candidate, you have voted for Obama. If you vote for Ron Paul, you have voted for Obama. Either Romney or Obama WILL be President. If you don’t vote for one, you have voted for the other. Romney is not my ideal candidate but I will vote for him. He’s not a Kenyan Communist bent on destruction of the United States. Obama is. Obama is a “red diaper” baby. He was born a communist. He was raised a communist. He was educated communist. He is, today, a communist. Romney, RINO that he is, is a far, far, better choice for President than Obama. Hell, my dog would be a better choice for President than Obama but he’s not running.

Stun the status quo by recruiting viable, staunch conservative candidates, throw your time, talent and treasure behind them. Get’em in office.
The Tea Party was duped into calming down and moving back into the Republican party with empty promises of reform.
We now know, this did not happen. Boehner was elected speaker and Tea party members were tamped down and marginalized.
Drives me batty. So many still fly the Republican banner after being betrayed time after time.
Where do they go? To the down-ballot races.

The convention remains months away.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, is set in cement.
Put your trust in Him.
In the interim, and no matter what happens, we have to put our energies into the races across our nation, in our own districts, state houses, and in the U.S. House and Congress to elect as many TEA Party patriots as we possibly can.
Nobody ever promised us a Rose Garden or “The Rose Garden in the White House,” but by God, let’s listen to our better Angels!

Romney tried the same trick just a few days ago when he went out of his way to hire on a gay guy.
It was like he was campaigning for the Democrats.
It is possible that Romney simply doesn't know any real Republicans.
The Conservatives who jump ship too early into Romney's boat are probably going to end up on the bottom of the river.
Those movements far outweighed any conceivable third-party development.
Comrade Obama thanks you for your vote.
This election has gone beyond Obama-Romney for most conservatives.
This election is about Republicans that worked with democrates that created the mess this country is in now.
The GOP had a chance to get behind one of many of the more conservative candidates, but they chose Romney instead.
Romney is their choice.
My choice will be my choice this time. If the country burns...the democrates and the republicans caused it at will pay dearly along with those who helped them do it!
I’m not covering somebodies ass anymore who will not cover mine in return.
I hope you choke on the tears you shed while voting for another back stabbing republican RINO!
