Indianapolis-The Indiana Black Expo's Indianapolis chapter hosted a forum for the community downtown Monday to talk about the death of Trayvon Martin.
It was meant to address the sudden and controversial shooting death of the unarmed teen back in February.
The event featured community and religious leaders as well as a student from Arsenal Tech High School.
"This forum is an outlet so we can get our ideas out there and properly process them, and once we've done so, we can take proper action to make sure this incident never happens again," said Robert Sherrell, student.
They event was just one of the many planned by the Indiana Black Expo. Others will take place throughout the state as part of the We Are One Project.

Did their discussion of race relations include any of the subsequent black-on-white violence episodes where the attackers shouted out comments that “this is for Trayvon”?

IMO the best way to “make sure this never happens again” is for mamas and papas to make sure their kids don’t grow up to be thugs!!
We're in agreement. When the thug interrupted his efforts to case the neighborhood and started pounding George Zimmerman's head against the concrete, Zimmerman took proper action to make sure attacks by Trayvon never happened again. Problem solved.
As the nation degenerates on feminist bigotry, it is now OK for blacks to be openly racist. That means Jews are soon to be next... but, hey, they voted for him when Wright made his hate speech and they will vote for him again...

Translation: “We have no idea what actually happened, but we’ll just go with whatever pap the Drive-By-Media fed us”.

“Proper action” is a very apt term. “Proper action” is to learn the ethics, principles and morality that will lead you to act in a lawful, civilized manner. Otherwise, you just might get shot.
I’m hopeful that GZ will justifiably be exonerated, then proceed to sue various entities for a WHOLE LOT of money. Al Sharpton is at the top of that list, along with NBC, the NAACP, the Black Panthers and Roseanne Barr (I’m sure I missed a few other worthy targets - so to speak). That would be fun to watch.
Black Expo attendees will still shoot more Black Expo attendess than whitey. Maybe they’ll organize a Washington St hunt and go after the Hispanics in honor of Skittles.

A sure way to avoid this kind of incident is for black teens not to assault people.
Yep - and with the sole purpose of igniting anger and violence so they can stomp on those who defend themselves as racist haters and further fan the flames. Only worls as long as folks keep wearing the sheep skins and keep rolling over. If it really ignites, expect a LOT of blood in the streets and for underground cabals to start actively opposing government forces. He's trying to turn us into a third world nation with all the daily violence that become the way of "life". Hopefully, he underestimates the will of decent People and overestimates how corrupt the government/law forces are willing to become.
