Early Freeper Graduates From College Today
personal experience ~ I was there and saw it happen | may 18, 2012 | muawiyah

Remember "March for Justice," broadcast live on Halloween 1998?

My sons and I went to the March for Justice and we brought along several of their friends. All of them are today reliable Republican voters.

One of the young men is of Thai heritage and he was mightily impressed with the Freepers that day. When he was about 12 he started a two year stint as a child monk in Bangkok ~ by the time he was a senior in high school he had some problems getting the grades needed to graduate so I elected to help him ~ to make sure he could do the work he'd need to do to maybe get through college someday.

We started with his personal narrative of what life is like on the streets as a child monk. All I did was type it up. I think it broke the English teacher's heart ~ he got an A+ as his final grade for senior English. But enough on that.

Today, after 12 years of on again off again college work Charlie graduated from George Mason University ~ with a degree in computer system operations.

My family attended. His aunts and uncles attended. His cousins were there.

He was their first ever in history college graduate ~ I do believe our group cheered the loudest of all.

Charlie was able to see clear to make the maximum effort to complete college through the emotional support and frequent encouragement of everyone around him. For some guys it takes longer, but without that extra support it might well take forever.

I want to hear our politicians tell us how they are going to get the government out of the way and how the economy of this great nation can be unleashed to give Charlie and another million grads this Spring real jobs with a future!

Charlie is voting Republican ~ but the Republicans got to deliver on this.

Great story. And congratulations to Charlie. How proud you must be.

Tomorrow morning, we are going to our eldest granddaughter’s graduation. She will be getting her Master’s in economics.

Awesome and congrats to Charlie!! His journey to getting a degree sounds very familiar. It took me 11 years to finally get my BA between kids and a husband in the Army. And now 7 years after finally getting my BA, I just graduated with my JD, which wasn’t easy because of my husband’s injuries and my son’s autism. I know there’s no love lost with freepers and lawyers, but I will be on the right side. :) And I still think there’s an argument to be made regarding the right to freely travel and the Army officer who had his weapons taken away in DC. I would make the argument. :)

“Remember “March for Justice,” broadcast live on Halloween 1998?”

“The ‘March For Justice’ is intended to raise public awareness about President Clinton’s disgraceful actions while in office and, ultimately, to help serve as a catalyst that results in his removal,” Jim Robinson said.

“I’m just a private citizen who is completely fed-up with corruption in Washington and the federal government over-stepping its bounds,” Robinson said. “Every year, we lose more of our freedom through legislation and Executive Order,” he added. “Enough is enough.”
