When men have died horrible deaths on foreign soil to protect the Constitution, can any man be forgiven when he ignores the Constitution to save his career? (1)
In late January, Liberty Legal Foundation lead attorney Van Irion argued before Georgia Administrative Judge Michael Malihi that Barack Obama was constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of president because he did NOT satisfy the Article II requirement of being a natural born citizen of the United States. Irions argument was based on precedent derived from an 1875 Supreme Court ruling which stated:
The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. (2)
On February 3rd, Judge Malihi ignored this precedent of the 1875 court along with the language of the Constitution itself, claiming...

No...the disgrace is using Memorial Day as an excuse to promote birtherism. Reprehensible.
I concur.
dumb@ss.
Obama naturalized as a US Citizen in 1983. His Certificate of Naturalization is on file with US Department of Homeland Security.

False dichotomy. There are other options between fat, dumb, and drunk or birtherism.
Yeah!!! Memorial day has nothing to do with Americans dying to defend and protect the constitution from foreign and domestic enemies and besides, the constitution means whatever the afterbirthers say it means!
Get outta here with that constituion stuff. This is Memorial day! ;)
...and birthers like to ignore the part of the Constitution that clearly establishes the rules to remove a President from office. (”He was never President” argument to follow.)

Apparently, the beer came hours before the BBQ and now posting at FR. Try to ignore the agenda driven ...
There are 364 other days for that.(365 this year) One day off won’t hurt.
Thanks for your service.

That was a good. Thanks for the link.
You’re very welcome. It is so galling on this day of remembrance to have a man in the Oval Office who has no idea what Memorial Day means to America. (As you recall, he famously saw ghosts in the audience a couple of years back on this very day.) I hope, pray and believe this is the last Memorial Day we will have to endure the man. I wish him no harm; it’s just that it’s so unseemly to have this sneering US military hater pontificating over such a hallowed day.
