Palm Tran, Palm Beach Countys public bus service, sells $60 monthly passes to anyone who wants one. Poor residents are eligible to buy them at a discounted rate of $15.
But now, poor illegal immigrants can no longer buy them at the discounted rate. The change has attracted protests from some immigrant-rights advocates, who say poor illegal immigrant families often include children whose parents may be less able to provide for them if they have to spend more on bus fares.
But Palm Tran officials say it was never intended that bus fares for illegal immigrants be subsidized. West Palm Beach attorney Aileen Josephs, a prominent immigrant advocate, agreed, telling the Posts Ana Valdes that I dont think they have a constitutional right for subsidized public transportation.
Should Palm Tran deny discounted bus passes to illegal immigrants? What do you think?

Same problem they had in Mexico, is the same problem, they have here, stop having kids you cannot provide for.
I thought Palm Tran was a Vietnamese dude.
Pham’s brother, assistant manager at Kim Hung.
I think illegal aliens should have their assets seized, be jailed for a while breaking rocks and then placed in a cheap bus and driven free to the closest border where they will be thrown out of America so they can p[roceed back to their worthless, fleabitten, crummy countries of origin.
I think this question is so stupid it makes my head hurt. Asking if they have a constitutional right to them could be a good argument to the statement "There's no such thing as a stupid question".
Hopefully the poor illegals will be so apoplectically aggrieved they will flee back to Mexico (or other 3rd world sh!th0le) where they can live in dignity.
This is where the country is?? Public services (taxpayer money) must now subsidize the transport of illegal aliens because they are dirt poor (by American standards)? These folks are sending billions home to Mexico (or to another 3rd world sh!th0le.) They can pay full fare for transit or pay Pedro to pile into the back of his truck.
