The Supreme Court has a tendency to get in its own way. Brilliant minds sometimes miss the simplest of issues -- try having a five-minute conversation with Thomas Edison -- and sometimes, when the facts of a case are reduced to their simplest terms, the obvious answer presents itself. Unfortunately arguments before the Supreme Court often focus on the opposite: complex, even strained interpretations of constitutional and case law, without regard to practical application or, dare I say, common sense. Those arguments regarding the Arizona immigration law illustrate the case perfectly.

You may be right! Just think of the outrage that will occur if the Supreme Court allows the Health Care Mandate! Times are not like they use to be with the internet. Information and common sense abound.
If not a civil war, at least a call for a Constitution Convention to sort out which Constitutional Rights have been routinely ignored or just trampled all over - by Supreme Courts most of all.
Thursday will tell...the revolution will begin, depending on what Thursday brings...

I am really getting tired of the courts ignoring the simple and easily determined Constitution in favor of liberal gadflies. Enough is enough!
If the Constitution does no prevail, I would expect an uprising. Maybe it is time for the Courts to understand that they do NOT have the final say!

I’m hoping that Atizona keeps complete statistics on how many illegals they detect and report to the federal authorities, and periodically issue comprehensive reports on how many times the feds fail to do anything about the illegals they’ve uncovered - let the nation see just how indifferent and derelict this administration really is......

Now you’re asking for the impossible, considering that we elect people like Carter, Clinton and Obama who, in turn, will appoint individuals to the USSC of their image and likeness.
You’ve got that right - Thursday will tell! It just may decide the direction of many lives also. Just think of the folks that find it incomprehensible that government could force you to take part in buying a product. Who would have thought that it was possible before Obamacare?
We are living in a new age where the Supreme Court has much less authority than it had previously. We have an Executive branch that seems to make up its own rules. We have a Justice department that not only makes its own rules but decides what laws it will enforce - regardless of those that are passed by Congress (you know, those that are actual laws).
So now, we have an Executive out of control, a Justice Department out of control, and the liberal Democrats backing him up... where have we gone wrong?
Now back this up with a stupid Supreme Court ruling on Obama care and you have a trifecta! Could things get any worse - doubt it!

At that point, we are way past time for a constitutional convention...the same people who put this bastard in office would support changes to the constitution that are totally ‘un-American’. At that point it is time for 1776-II.
Each of the justices that voted to strike down the AZ law, which mirrors U.S. law, need to be impeached but that would only give Obama a clear pathway to appoint 5 more Marxists to the court!
