Sound and Fury signifying Prejudice (The Left on Batman movie massacre - "Don't look a gift horse in

It should come as no surprise and no shock that the Left and the political media’s first impulse concerning the horrendous attack on theatergoers in Aurora, Colorado last night – is to score political points against conservatives. The ugly mask of hatred and deep-seated bias against constitutionally guaranteed rights is in no way limited to just the corporate owned press and media. It is also flourishing among the Fascist politico cadre.

Let’s open the ball with ABC News. In the immediate aftermath of the deadly rampage committed by Jim Holmes, 24 – an erstwhile medical student pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience – Brian Ross, investigative reporter for ABC on Good Morning America, wasted no time in trying to connect the suspect with the Tea Party. Here’s the dialog between Ross and George Snuffleuppagus (I hope I spelled that correctly):

Stephanolpoulos: I’m going to go to Brian Ross. You’ve been investigating the background of Jim Holmes here. You found something that might be significant.

Ross: There’s a Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado, page on the Colorado Tea party site as well, talking about him joining the Tea Party last year. Now, we don’t know if this is the same Jim Holmes. But it’s Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado.

Stephanolpoulos: Okay, we’ll keep looking at that. Brian Ross, thanks very much.

There are a couple of questions, not original to me, that are germane to this but will never receive an answer. One is that in any kind of journalistic environment with the least semblance of objectivity – would Brian Ross and Snuffleuppagus not at the very least, be suspended, if not fired, for pursuing a pointed political angle without a shred of credible evidence to support it? The other question is the rush to judgment in favor of the progressive side to politics.

I think I can provide an answer or at least a speculative interpretation on the second question. It is because, such a connection between the suspect and the conservative movement, would be a game changer for both the Democrats and their media cohorts of epic proportions in this phase of the presidential election. The larger motive is – as Alex Jones points out in the video clip above, is to poison public opinion in advance of the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty vote in the Senate next week.

Because of that, Brian Ross and Mr. Snuffleuppagus got itchy and couldn’t restrain themselves. They threw caution to the wind in favor of the heady aroma of a Tea Party / GOP / Conservative take down, so if you will pardon the expression, they pulled the trigger on it. The same holds true for the Hollywood idiots and the idiot-savant Mayor of New York City, Mike Bloom-Burqa, whom I will get to in a moment, but one last telling aspect of Brian Ross involvement in the GMA reporting.

In his ‘non-apology’, but rather a brief and superficial correction to his original reporting, Brian Ross feels that it is a vital element to the story to emphasize that the suspect, Jim Holmes is a 24 year old White student. Remember that pictures of the ‘alleged’ shooter have already been widely circulated in connection with reports on this.

Why is it critical to include the racial identity of the shooter? I’ll ask rhetorically; would anyone take pains to note that the shooter had been Black or Latino?

So, next we come to Mayor Mike, the ‘Junior Benito Mussolini’ wannabe, who, it is reported, tripped over himself and nearly sustained serious injury in rushing to a hurriedly scheduled press conference in order to attack conservative America and their 2nd Amendment rights.

“Soothing words are nice,” Bloomberg said during a regularly scheduled appearance on WOR 710 AM in New York. “But maybe it’s time the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country. And everybody always says, ‘Isn’t it tragic?’

“I mean, there’s so many murders with guns every day,” Bloomberg continued. “It’s just gotta stop. And instead of these two people, President [Barack] Obama and Governor [Mitt] Romney talking in broad things about, they want to make the world a better place. OK, tell us how. And this is a problem. No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment, no matter where you stand on guns, we have a right to hear from both of them, concretely, not just in generalities, specifically, what are they going to do about guns?

This is killing people every day,” and it’s growing. And it’s not just an inner city, East Coast, West Coast, big city phenomenon. Aurora is not a big city, it’s a suburb of Denver. … The murder rate in the rural areas is as just as bad, if not worse than the murder rate in the urban areas.

I don’t think there’s any other developed country in the world that has remotely the problem we have, there’s no other place that allows — we have more guns than people in this country. Every place else, if there are murders, they’re generally not done with guns.”

Mayor Mike. So many fallacies and so much empty suit-isms – where oh where, do I begin? I’ll start off with the observation that here is a man, who is intelligent enough to amass a personal fortune – but in every other respect of his understanding of the world, is dumb as a sack of nails.

To begin with, his comments are steeped in the pontificating air of one who considers the intended audience for his comments to be extremely uninformed about anything of importance and are breathlessly waiting for his professorial pronouncement so that they can form an opinion. This would be typical of Mike’s type of egotistical gas bag – the Caesar complex.

So he tells us what we already know as if it was a news flash – “There’s so many murders with guns everyday”. Oh, I had NO idea!

It gets dumber, if such a thing is possible. “what are they going to do about guns?” Hmmm. He wants to insinuate a solution without actually spelling it out. What they should do with guns, to his way of thinking and what he would do if he were allowed dictatorial powers, would be to confiscate them from everyone but criminals.

Then, continuing to illustrate the effects of ‘hoof in mouth’ disease, he dribbles this unfounded inanity – “And it’s growing. And it’s not just an inner city, East Coast, West Coast, big city phenomenon. Aurora is not a big city, it’s a suburb of Denver. … The murder rate in the rural areas is as just as bad, if not worse than the murder rate in the urban areas.” What’s growing Mike, your colossal ignorance? There is absolutely not a shred of evidence available anywhere that demonstrates that gun violence in rural America is the equal of that of the cities. No such thing.

Of course, at these press conferences, they just let the Mike Bloombergs’ of the world keep rambling on spouting inanities unabated – which he did, unhesitatingly. If what he said up to this point didn’t convince you that the guy doesn’t even bother to apply the parking brake to his mouth before he puts his brain in neutral – then take this one out for a spin. “Every place else, if there are murders, they’re generally not done with guns.”

So, here is Bloom-Burqa expressing his preference for other methods of murdering people. The murders elsewhere take place because of the usual reasons – felony, crimes of passion and outbursts of psychopathic behavior, but if Mike could have his druthers, he’d much prefer to see them done as they are done in more civilized societies – with Knifes, Bombs, Baseball bats, homemade and improvised weapons, etc. Right – yeah, I can see that, sounds good Mike, tell me more.

Mike – do us a favor. Go back to your idiotic rants about super sized soft drinks and let the adults continue our conversation, would you please?

The contestant du jour from the Hollywood Idiot crowd (for now), is Cher, mother of Chaz. Cher wasted no time in tweeting a critique of Mitt Romney’s condolences as compared to those of Mr. Obama:

“OBAMA! 2day He talked bout his Great Sadness off top oh his head! Romney needed 2 READ Cards 2 tell how SAD he was,” she wrote on Twitter.

Yesterday, the singer tweeted:

“I Know u aren’t in2 politics, but you’ll pay High Price if u Don’t Know the enemy. Mitt Would Steal The Penny’s Off His OWN Eyes 2 B PRESIDENT.”

What can I say about Cher’s state of mind and lack of class that she hasn’t already made clear in these two gross misuses of an already very innocuous and trivial means of human communication? I get the fact that Tweet messages look illiterate by their very nature, but she has elevated moronic social messaging to an art form.

The final example of a zen like ability to fill the air with vibrations that manifest as sounds mimicking relevancy, comes to us from Obama’s Chief Spokeshole, Jay Carney-Barker:

“I would say as you know the president believes we need to take common sense measures that protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans while ensuring that those who should not have guns under existing laws do not get them, we’re making progress in that regard in terms of improving the volume and quality of information on background checks but I have nothing additional on that for you. This is obviously a recent event.”

No more obvious that your lack of a grasp of reality and any nuanced understanding.

The narrative of this event has nothing whatever to do with “ensuring that those who should not have guns under existing laws do not get them”. Law enforcement authorities in Colorado have confirmed that the shooter has no prior criminal record or any other cloud on his background information that would have prevented him from legally obtaining firearms.

There is absolutely nothing in this situation, tragic and regrettable, though it is, that requires any sort of meddling with our 2nd Amendment rights.

All reasonable and rational Americans dearly hoped that there would be no repeat of a Jared Loughner type incident – but the fact remains that human behavior is predictable in its’ unpredictability. That is true today, was true yesterday and will remain so for as long as we inhabit the planet.

The only other aspect of this circumstance that is not unexpected, is the short lived impulse among the Left, to seek some redeeming value for themselves from this tragedy. They joined together in a collective spiritual heartbeat, to implore the Almighty that Jim Holmes could be discovered to be a Right winger. “Please God, Please????? I pledge to forswear venial sins for one whole day”

The Bible tells us not to pray with impure motives.

What you won’t hear from the drive-by media is that there’s a growing body of credible evidence that this kook had ties to the agitating malcontents of OWS.

Wasn’t the theater located in a “Gun Free” zone?

What the dipsh*ts in this country don’t understand is that ‘gun free’ means that only law-abiding citizens will not bring their guns with them.

The movie Batman sucked. It was predictable cliche driven Hollywood garbage. It’s loosely based around OWS/99%’ers quasi-terrorists who have no problem killing and torturing their own in their goal of subjugating Gotham.

I find it ironic that this is the venue in which this young and disturbed man chose to express his outrage and anger as it becomes increasingly clear that he had leftist leanings.

I loved the movie. So what if it was a bit predictable, it was an indictment on the occupiers.

Pray for the Victims.

I think if Barak Obama had a son he’d look like James Holmes.
