Our boy Daryl writes editorials for the Virginian Pilot, which explains the god-awful writing, the bigotry, the stupidity and the hatred for Christians that is found on the Virginian Pilot’s pages on any random day.
He explains to us in those oh-so-reasonable ways that is a pitch-perfect illustration of the ways in which Liberals condescend to people with whom they disagree, that being a supporter of traditional marriage, as it has been understood for millennia, is exactly the same as wishing to enslave black people.
He tells us that “I'm not inclined to support groups that work to prolong our society's disgracefully indecent treatment of gay people.”
There’s an interesting an informative essay by Datechguy Guns and Chick-Fil-A a matter of trust that illustrates perfectly the manner in which the Left lies about issues like gay marriage … and guns. But that’s fodder for another post.
Let it be sufficient to know that we won’t be rubbing elbows with Daryl on our next visit to Chick-fil-A which relieves our mind since I really don’t want to eat in the same restaurant with people who hate Christians.
Or people who write for a living and don’t know the meaning of the words they use. Daryl tells us that Cathy is “invoking God's wrath against gays” which is either a lie or ignorant. Synonyms for “invoking” are appealing, praying, summoning, begging, beseeching, entreating, and petitioning. Cathy is not asking for a wrathful God to punish gays, but believes that homosexuality is a sin which God judges. In fact, Cathy prays for God’s mercy.
Is Daryl a liar or simply ignorant? Why can’t he be both? And a bigot to boot.
I hade a cookies & cream milkshake at Chick-fil-a last night. Yum yum.
Not a big fan of the food at Chick-fil-A but I will stop in more often during business travels. Meanwhile gay marriage promoters like JC Penney get none from me. Works both ways ay LIEberals?
Guy at the Post told me in all seriousness that Jesus wouldn’t eat at Chick Fil A ~ and I told him that I’d talked to Jesus last night and he told me “Eat dem cheek onz” in the purest of Cajun accents.
I cancelled the Pilot home delivery many years ago. IMO, they are a lib only rag paper. For the 8 years of the Bush presidency the Pilot would surely show him as a dunce with a pointed hat on his head. In addition to many anti-conservative opinions.
I work in the hood. Most of the blacks I know get pi$$ed when someone equates homosexual demands with the civil rights movement.
I think that the right should have TV ads that show a sodomite sex act from beginning to end... in detail and without and editing... and then ask if this is really what you are supporting.

It’s too bad these people can’t take a step back from the whole situation and see what idiots they look like by letting the media drag them around by the nose. The kenyan opposed gay marriage until a couple months ago; silence. The entire Islamic world opposes gay anything, least of all marriage; silence. The media decides to make an issue of a fast food restaurant’s position on gay marriage, and they all dutifully go apoplectic.
Next thing you know they will be saying Chick-Fil-A makes you straight!

One guy that I know well is a small business owner, he is also a Christian, so he couldn’t vote for Obama because of the abortion issue. But he couldn’t bring himself to vote against the first black to run for president, so he left that blank and voted Republican for most of the rest of the offices.
I didn’t have a subscription to cancel because the Pilot cancelled home delivery on the Eastern Shore before I could get one. So I just use the website and anytime someone makes some kind o comment about only subscribers should be able to post comments I remind them that the VP doesn’t want me as a subscriber.
