President Obama’s Focus is to keep Criminals Away from Guns Except When it Gives Guns to Criminals

President Obama’s administration needs to work on its communication. Today, Jay Carney said that the Obama Administration’s focus is “to keep criminals and others who should not have those guns, from being able to obtain them.” Memos must not get sent to the right people, or maybe they are sent but are just overlooked It was December 2010 when conservative bloggers were trying to get national recognition of the Fast and Furious Scandal. With the murder of ATF Agent Brian Terry came a justifiable outrage for not only bungling a dangerous case, but also for not disclosing any of the documents explaining who was involved and how deeply they were involved. The Department of Justice was directly involved with knowingly allowing criminals to obtain dangerous weapons in an attempt to track the guns to drug cartels purchasing them.

The initial reaction of the scandal was so damning that the ATF Chief, Kenneth Melson, resigned. In an attempt to further investigate, Congress held hearings with some of President Obama’s top administrators. The stonewalling was so bad that Congress voted to hold the United States Attorney General in contempt for the first time in history. Prior to the vote, President Obama invoked executive privilege regarding documents dealing with the Fast and Furious investigation.

When Jay Carney says that the administration is trying to keep weapons out of criminals’ hands by enforcing existing laws, how can Americans trust what he is saying? At what point do voters concede that something must be wrong with the President and his administration? Citizens can at least hope that these mistakes were mistakes from ineptitude. Though, given other examples from the President’s tenure, it seems more likely to be caused by corruption. .

Kind of a complementary fit to the Clinton doctrine, which was to never commit US Military forces in any conflict in which a positive outcome helped US interests.

What was bungled ?
Arming a Federal agent with a “bean bag” gun 30 miles inside the U.S. Border (per DHS Directive )
Who would have imagined drug cartel members being armed ?
especialy after our government sent over 2000 weapons over the border, with NO TRACKING devices
Maybe they thought the Mexicans hadbeen armed with a “Taco gun” ?

This outrage would never have come to light except for the fact that WHISLTEBLOWERS came forth to tell the truth.
That BATF didn’t encourage gun sales ... they COMMANDED it (ordered by their FED supervisors) !
That U.S. gun shops were COERCED into makeing the sales.
That BATF then went after and have started to prosecute the gun shops to make headlines.
That the list of superiors in the various agencies of the “Just-Us” Dept. who ordered the sales remains anonomous.
That one of the mentioned supervisors is suddenly transferred to Afghanistan , and is unavailable for questioning (although he was reached by satillitde cellphone)
That the “Just-Us” Dept. stonewalled the Congressional Committee for almost 19 months .
That after document ‘stonwalling’ for almost 19 months, the POTUS issues an Executive Priviledge over something that he claims to have “no knowledge” about the issue.

Something is rotten in Denmark !
The only thing “Bungled” is the prosecution of those responsible !
Justice delayed is justice denied .
