It is the central strategy of the Democrats: take things away from people, create a society in which people cannot manage on their own -- and then tell them that if they vote Democrat, all their needs will be taken care of.
It's a lot like a Fire Dept setting fire to your house in order to convince you that you really, really want a Fire Dept to be built next door to you.

There is no such thing as “green energy”.
The myth is a pretense, suggesting you get something for nothing.
It is promoted by the population control crowd, the anti-industrialists, anti-capitalist, eugenics types.
They tell countries in Africa they can’t have real power plants that have the potential to lift them from 3rd world status. No, they have to use pitiful solar or wind powered garbage.

I can afford green energy, I just don't want green energy.
There is some green energy electric company that sets up a table at my local grocery store, hawking their wares.
I ask them where it comes from, they say “natural gas” of course.
And where does natural gas come from I ask. Do we not drill for NG?
Those retards don't know.
I tell them they are the problem not the solution, I feel justified walking away, they feel justified that I have done so.
He who laughs last, laughs best.

"Green Energy" only works in the faculty lounge debate.
"Green Energy" never worked in a real life scenario.

Green Solar alone has decimated American taxpayer funds (to the advantage of Obama and his donors) and democrats are hellbent on limitless more funding for them. It is reprehensible and should be stopped in all forms and manner.

Green energy is communism.

Add Mitt Romney to that and you’ve knocked it out of the park.

The cold war may be over (well, maybe), but the ideological battle with communism rages on under new names.

"I can afford green energy, I just don't want green energy." There you go again. What you want doesn't matter to them, you're probably part of the 1%. And while you may be able to afford green power personally, a large majority of people can't. In liberalspeak, that means you get to pay for them too.
Not picking on you, just trying to point out that our individual liberties are going or gone.

I saw a Weather channel special recently on a crew in Nome, AK trying to figure out how to climb an ice covered tower to fix a broken windmill.
They claimed that people were without power due to the broken windmill (a serious problem in Alaska in winter). What the hell are they smoking up there?
Wonder if this is the problem they were trying to fix?

Don’t think so that looks like a different tower. Probably replaced that with a better design.

Here's a we site you might find interesting
"Eco-imperialism: Green Power, Black Death".
While the web site promotes a book, it also contains many interesting articles on how those promoting "green" lifestyle are harming those they claim to be protecting.
Paul K Driessen is a "former member of the Sierra Club and Zero Population Growth," who "abandoned their cause when he recognized that the environmental movement had become intolerant in its views, inflexible in its demands, . . . and insensitive to the needs of billions of people who lack the food, electricity, safe water, health care and other basic necessities that we take for granted".
