Unless you've had your head in the sand, you already know the ultra-liberal slate of moderators selected for the presidential debates... and this cannot stand:
The ABC moderator chosen for the vice presidential debate in Danville, Ky., on Oct. 11 of this year will be the network's Chief Foreign Correspondent, Martha Raddatz.
Jim Lehrer, of PBS, will ask the questions at the first presidential debate, which is Oct. 3 in Denver. Next comes CNNs Candy Crowley, who will pick questioners at a town hall-style event in Hempstead, N.Y. on Oct. 16. Bringing up the rear will be veteran CBS reporter Bob Schieffer, who will host the final debate in Boca Raton, Fla., on Oct. 22. It sounds like a great lineup provided youre the Democratic candidate.
Can also get RNC at 202-863-8500
Republicans need to demand that the moderators are an equal mix of liberals and conservatives. You know that the liberals will give Obama a list of the questions ahead of time.
If they want to keep with trotting out the leftist moderators every time, how about lets do co-moderators.
Let the normal leftists ask the questions to the GOP and let Limbaugh or Levin ask the questions to the Dims.
That would make a debate worth watching.
I think we can pretty well surmise what the questions for Mitt will be without cheating. think Bain, vulture capitalism, outsourcing, medicaid, romneycare, tax rates, and off shore bank accounts.
This is what I posted about this issue yesterday:
Breitbart needs to put together a nice long video of these phony biased journalists spewing their love for Bozo and hate for the GOP/Tea Party/Conservatives. Use it as a commercial. Run it over and over. Then Romney needs tell these enemy networks that we are not showing up for their Obama but-kissing dog and pony show, the same way he refused to attend the Fox moderated Rat primary debate!! Stop playing by the SRMs rules and letting them frame the debate. Tell them to screw off and why! I am so sick of this crap and the SRM.
I will be doing all 4 suggested actions. Thanks for the info!
bump for later
“Liberal Moderator” - see “Oxymoron”
Just once I would like to see the moderator be Rush Limbaugh, or even Mark Levin...
Just ONCE.
Chuck Barris would have been PERFECT!!!
I can’t stand the thought of softballs being sent to Obama and questions like this to Romney;
“So next question is to Mr. Romney: since it is your party’s basis of policy that at it’s core hate gays and minorities, please explain how you plan to progress our culture to be inclusive of everyone along the terms of social and economic justice”,,,
There’s no point in calling the RNC. They have no intention of listening or doing anything about this.
NOTHING is going to change until we get rid of the Republican party and form one that reflects our ideals and desires.
That was the obvious conclusion from the moment Romney was rammed down our throats. Nothing in the establishment will ever change unless we throw it out wholesale.
I will pull the lever for Romney because we have to, but I am officially looking for the Republican party to be replaced. I have been a Republican my whole life, but they have left me behind. It’s over.
I’m fully with you until the “pull the lever for Romney” part.
I agree with you that the RNC has NEVER developed testosterone, except for holding silence while conservative contenders flail for money and support - until the RNC annointed one is finally triumphant.
However, Reince Priebus, as RNC chair, does himself seem invested in winning this election for Paul Ryan’s sake if no other, and HAS to know that the debates are always nothing but a prime time abuse session perpetrated against the Republican nominee. If ever there was a chairman who might be found willing to level the playing field, it may be Reince. (However his name is spelled.)
This small effort is not a laborious task. Maybe, just maybe, it might help. This is the year, that’s for sure. People are FED UP, and there is no down side.
The person who answered the phone told me they have nothing to do with the decision, and advised me to contact the "non-partisan" Commission on Presidential Debates with my complaint. He gave me the website address: http://www.debates.org/.
BTW, there is no contact info available at the "Commission on Presidential Debates" website -- no phone number, no email address, and not even a place to leave a comment.
The guy I spoke with was polite, and not unsympathetic, but had clearly been instructed to say nothing else beyond referring me to the website.
Why isn’t Fox hosting one of those debates?
Looks like they're pulling a Pontius Pilate and washing their pudgies of any responsibility or effort. They should be making a commercial out of this travesty....why should Breitbart and FR have to do everything?
Leni
Appalled? How about Dismayed, Shocked, Flabbergasted, Dumfounded. What the hell is wrong with the Romney people? Have they all got their heads up their A$$ to agree to this? All these so-called moderators are SCHLOCK, PINKO, LIBS who will surely try to sque the debates toward Dumbo. Rediculous. NOT GOING TO WATCH!! Don't want to clean up the puke on the floor.
That’s BS. They can decline.
