On Kudlow Ed Klein just claimed that 2 wks ago Jarrett offered Hillery VP slot (vanity)

Joe Klein (author of "The Amateur")said his sources in the Clinton camp told him that Jarrett invited Hillary to lunch two weeks ago and asked her if she would accept the VP slot to replace Biden. Hillary refused to encourage an offer.

Klein said that Bill and Jarrett (and it is assumed Michelle and Barry) were for it, but Hillary figured that if Obama lost, she would be finished and she wanted to preserve her options for 2016.

Well, now, hey; let’s be fair. When Hillary was running against Obama in ‘08 she had a very stylish hair style, kept her weight down and was an attractive older woman. For real. Now, she looks horrible. She’d have to do some work on herself to make a run as VP with Obama. That might be why she doesn’t want the VP spot; too much trouble to fix herself up every morning. Maybe she’s gotten use to letting herself go.

I'm not so sure he's not her flunky.

[sincerity, average] It’s a good thing Snopes Clinton and his lovely wife are such paragons of honor and scrupulous behavior, or we might have to wonder whether they’re planning an October surprise for President Share the Prosperity. [/sincerity]

“In Biden’s case, he’s so slick that no one can call him on it.”

I totally disagree. Everyone, including Democrats are calling Joe on his obvious stupidity. IMO Palin won her debate with Biden despite all of the excuse making for his made up facts.

"Zero is lucky she didn’t accept the offer. If she did and they won the election, he would be a dead man".

Or she a dead woman. Two of a kind there.

If it happened it wouldn’t have been two weeks ago. Changing the VP would have to be prepared far in advance, so as to avoid the impression of panic or incompetence.

Agreed. Obama and his team are already giving signs of being in panic mode, and his followers can sense it. Admitting he'd made a mistake with Clueless Joe would help solidify him as being "in over his head" and give the GOP a lot of ammunition.

It doesn't matter what our Dear Leader says or does from now to November 6th, this election is a referendum on him and his policies. Unemployment over 8% for 42 straight months pretty much says it all.

I have a direct source, (well known public figure and international player) who said several months ago that the word was, Hillary would be on the ticket. I can not imagine this guy would not know what he is talking about or suggest this without inside knowledge.

If your source is wired into Billy, just be aware that Hilarious may not have gotten the memo!

Ed Klein said that Hillary was resisting strong pressure from Bill and Barry's team reds, but she doesn't want to be tainted by them any more than she already is.

2016? She’s going to be too old and haggly to run for anything except the bathroom.

Lol......my source is defintely wired into both Clinton’s. He despises Obama and has made his feelings very public. This swap was to have taken place several months ago, it was eminent, then nothing happened. Never had the nerve to question him as to what happened. Lol......he is just a tad intimidating for a bumpkin like me.

Given the fact that Obama is a miserable failure, I predicted that she would leave in 2011, write a book and run against that guy that her husband felt should be getting them coffee. I think she missed her opportunity and she doesn’t want more of this administration hung over her shoulders than already is.

I was expecting her to leave the Regime earlier than that. E.g., she could have resigned in indignation at the Regime's outrageous treatment of Honduras during its 2009 constitutional crisis. Then write the book, give speeches, and mount a primary challenge in 2012. But that's not what she did.

For some fun reading, check out Ed Klein's recent book The Amateur. Scroll forward to the prolog, entitled "As Bill Sees It, Chappaqua, New York, August 2011".

There was a well sourced report that Slick and a few of his cronies had a “come to Jesus” meeting with Hillary earlier in the year, begging her to oppose Obama in the primary. But she refused.

I think she’s just bone tired and needs time to recoup. She’s been on the hot seat for more than 25 years - from being first lady of AK, to first lady of the US, to US Senator, to candidate for Pres., then Sec. of State. That’s a long haul in the limelight with a lot of pressure.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see her retire from public service, but work behind the scenes to moderate the Dem party.

Step 1 : Bill the pervert is “open” to the idea of Hillary the VP. Promises to convince Hillary. Entice 0bama to buy into the idea.
Step 2 : Double cross 0bama
Step 3 : Biden gets upset and embarrasses 0bama
Step 4 : Leak\co-ordinate with GOP and have Sarah slam the door on any swap ideas.

Well played!
