I think that when Romney takes office, there needs to be some payback to various groups. For example, the lamestream media should lose their White House credentials and boogers should be given their slots. At least then we would get some real reporting. Affirmative Action should be abolished-what are the blacks going to do, not vote for us? Any ideas people?

Well put! The people who actually know how to do things are sick and tired of being lorded over by those who don’t but claim some intellectual authority to tell YOU how to do it, and then charge you for the privilege.
I won’t mention the economic side here because I am sure Dr. Ryan is smiling in anticipation and ready to dig in and FIX, but it will happen, and the economy will heave a humungous sigh of relief.

- Reverse JFK's executive order which allows federal employees to unionize.
- Reverse Obama's reversal of Bush's well thought out embryonic stem cell funding ban.
- Reverse all Obama's actions to stop drilling in the US, both gas and oil.
- Propose tax breaks for international companies to repatriate their money back here so it can be invested bringing jobs back. (around 1 trillion is available)
- Go to France and offer package deals for French millionares and businesses to relocate here rather than suffer French tax rates.
- Stop the "crucifixions" by regulatory agencies.
-Propose any sensible deregulation which only serves to raise the barriers to entry and reduce competition for large companies, which will spark new companies to form and compete with established companies.
- Implement loser pays lawsuits which would stop many of the worst activist lawsuits before they are sent to courts.
- Propose tort reforms which are adding to the price of health care.
Then get to work slashing the budget.

Give NYC to the Arabs for a Palestinian state.
Grant the coastal cities of California to Mexico.
That will change the political balance in the US and give our great grand kids a chance to save the US.
Give our men and women in uniform realistic ROE’s so they can take the fight to the enemy. Then he can start on things at home.

Lots of optimists on this thread, which is a good thing. What isn’t so good is that most of the suggested courses of action go against Romney’s grain, and that’s putting it politely.
Remember, lots of Republicans and conservatives are all-in for a liberal. So asking ‘what should Romney do first’ is as much pie-in-the-sky as anything else given his record.
Conservatives can thump their chests all they want. But Romney’s election will marginalize us completely whether we want to admit it or not.
I agree about the State Department... It is the most un-American body out there outside of the UN. It definitely needs to be cleaned up
