After Clint at the RNC, There's Only One Question Left to Ask Obama: "Well, do ya', punk?"
Michelle Obama's Mirror ^ | 8-31-2012 | MOTUS

I’ll get to Clint in a minute.

First, an important announcement: The R2 Team has officially embraced Alinsky’s Rules as their own! Who knew they had it in them?

It seemed as though everyone spent an inordinate amount of time last night practicing Rule #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Take Marco for example:

Under Barack Obama, the only “Change” is that “Hope” has been hard to find(snip)

Hope and Change has become Divide and Conquer. (snip)

Just who does that little whippersnapper think he is, ridiculing HOPE and CHANGE like that?

As for Mitt himself...ridiculing Big Guy. Who knew he had it in him?

President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans. (MUFFLED LAUGHTER) And heal the planet. (MORE LAUGHTER) MY promise...is to help you and your family...every president since the Great Depression...could look back at the last four years and say with satisfaction: "you are better off today than you were four years ago."

Except Jimmy Carter. And except this president.(snip)

I will begin my presidency with a jobs tour. President Obama began with an apology tour.

Okay then, we’re up to Clint Eastwood...His appearance incorporated many of Alinsky Rules including parts of Rule #3 (Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy) and #6 (A good tactic is one that your people enjoy) butt relied primarily on good old #5 (Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon).

For those ridiculing Clint today...allow me to pass on this explanation (h/t Madame deFarge): “his delivery combined Columbo, Will Rogers with a little Bob Newhart thrown in to reduce Barry to the twit he is.” ...

Clint Eastwood MAKES THE DAY FOR MILLIONS
as he delivers (with the Teleprompter broken)
his carefully crafted
monologue to the Empty Chair, exactly representing
America's undocumented, National Disgrace.

It is clear who was the main attraction last night....Clint Eastwood. Everyone today is saying Romney who? That is too dang bad for the liberal Republican named Romney. He is such an idiot because he can’t even set up the most important night of his life to be about HIM.

An empty chair represents the Incompetent One perfectly.

Please don't kid yourself. Romney nailed it, and he employed Eastwood to ridicule the empty chair. It was brilliant, from top to bottom at this convention.

Ya gotta quit being a hater. Romney is already LEADING, going to LA before Obama!

WRONG!!!...
You missed the point because you needed an adult ear to understand! Clint connected with the GEN X crowd!!
Those kids remember moving in with grandma and grandpa as kids and watching mom and dad struggle..(see parallels to today?)

Like my grandfather...clint told you something and taught you a lesson if you paid attention!

I loved this. Some of my coworkers are running around whimpering that we’re doomed, but that’s because they didn’t get the context.

“It is clear who was the main attraction last night....Clint Eastwood. Everyone today is saying Romney who? “

That statement doesn't reflect well on your political observation skills.

I did not realize the teleprompter was broken, I actually thought that Clint was ‘speaking’ Obama talk when Obama is talking without his teleprompter.

Clint’s performance (and that’s what it was; it wasn’t a speech) was allegorical. The empty chair represented so many things; an empty presidency, the president being an empty suit, empty promises, empty ideas, our future will be empty should he be reelected.

But the performance went beyond that. Some here have taken his appearance and manner as being not in control, his age affecting him. I don’t think so. I think he may have wanted to give that appearance. He wanted to be one of us, the seniors of this nation. He wanted them to know it is all right to criticize, parody, perhaps even ridicule the One. The One who runs on empty. And, he wanted us to know that we’re in charge. This is our country, our White House. Our chair. We determine who sits there.

That’s why Obama’s tweet “This chair’s taken” is so mindlessly stupid. It’s not his chair to keep. We say who sits there. Yet Obama not only showed his disdain for Clint Eastwood, but for Americans in general. His “This chair’s taken” comment flies in the face of the American electorate. Come November, I want to show him exactly who owns that chair, and who we want to sit in it at our pleasure. Tell that to your co-workers.

This coming from a person who thought the “I am a witch” commerical was brilliant. You are just a person who is easily directed.

Want proof that Eastwood was a winner? All the media, and I mean ALL the media, is running around screaming “Eastwood’s a loser!”

http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/pro-gay-marriage-pro-choice-libertarian-clint-eastwood-is-anti-hollywood-rncs-surprise-speaker/politics/2012/08/30/47820

Why did they invite a guy who is for gay marriage and abortion? And why are FREEPERS supporting him? I read some FREEPER comments when he did the crysler commerical and you all said he was garbage. He says a speech at the RNC and suddenly he is the greatest. No wonder the GOPe can put anyone infront of you and you will follow them like the pide piper. You guys are representing the worst!!!
