Nearly one in four of Australia's 21 million people was born overseas. The number of settlers arriving in Australia from more than 200 countries between July 2008 and June 2009 totalled 158,021. Most were born in New Zealand (16.2 per cent), the United Kingdom (13.6 per cent), India (10.9 per cent), China (10.0 per cent) and South Africa (4.6 per cent).

As you can see from above excerpt from Wiki, 158,021 immigrants entered Australia in just 12 months ending June 2009. I have a hard time believing they were all neuro surgeons or equivalent. In any case I am certain I will qualify. I would not be doing a cut and run. I immigrated to US because it was the most dynamic country. If Obama is re-elected, the country is already beyond resurrection. IMHO it has then successfully socialized to the point of no return for many decades. Once the takers have majority votes, it is the beginning of end.

Looking at your figures I don’t see the US listed. What was the percentage from my country?

It certainly is a cut and run, just not the first time you have done it.
