Romney's Czars

Posted on 09/03/2012 8:21:15 AM PDT by A'elian' nation

Romney is going to be busy fixing the state of the economy, so he is going to need to appoint some Czars. Here are a few to consider along with whom Romney should appoint:

An Eric Holder Czar for criminalizing Eric Holder for being Eric Holder. (Rudy Giiulani since Attila the Hun is unavailable)

A DOJ Czar for cleaning out all the Black Panthers and commie racist lawyers in the Department of Justice. ( J. Christian Adams )

A Top Secret Control Czar to investigate all the security leaks resulting in the death of overseas operatives. ( Dick Cheney )

A Fast and Furious Czar - need I explain? ( Katie Pavlich )

An Immigration Czar to allow states to control their borders. ( Joe Arpaio )

A Corporate Cronyism Czar - Solyndra, LightSquared, Fisker, all of them ( Russ Roberts - George Mason University economics professor )

An EPA Czar with presidential emergency powers to override all the phony environmental challenges sure to come when this country starts drilling again. ( Ted Nugent )

A Photo ID Czar with the distinct purpose of repealing Section 5 of the 1965 Voting Rights Act which requires 15 southern states to get clearances from the civil rights division of the DOJ before enacting photo ID legislation. ( John Fund - he has written the book on it )

A GSA Czar - to account for all the accounting the GSA is accounted to do. ( David Walker )

A TARP/Stimulus/Shovels Ready Czar ( Jim Robinson - and help yourself to any left over change, Jim )

A Jon Corzine/Al Gore/Kathleen Sebelius/Carol Browner/George Soros/et all Czar - Just for the fun of it. ( Michelle Malkin )

A Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi Czar - Even more fun. ( Todd Palin to rip open a new one )

A Ken Salazar Czar for defying a federal judge’s orders to lift his phony offshore oil drilling ban. ( J.R. Ewing )

An Obamacare Waiver Czar - to investigate the over 2000 incidents of union and political waivers from costly federal mandates. (Pinkerton Detective Agency )

An SEIU Czar to undo Obama’s SEIU Czar. (James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles )

Birther Czar - ( Jerome Corsi , although Hillary Clinton was the first birther - chilling story here how the Clintons were stopped in the 2008 campaign. Hadn’t heard this one before.

Have probably only scratched the surface of all the clean-up Czars needed. But I am adamant that this Obama regime needs to be seriously investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. And I don't hear much talk about how a new administration will deal with all the leftover stench.

No more fargin Czars, period. Just like Eastwood so clearly stated, if they are not doing their job, it is time for them to go. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find someone in each department that is willing to do their job, as a condition of keeping it.

Hey man, I don’t really want czars either BUT I do want all this corruption investigated and prosecuted, and I’m getting the feeling it is all going to be swept under the rug.

I was trying to be a bit light-hearted, but this is serious stuff, and I don’t hear the republican party talking about it.

The idea of a “Czar”, not approved by the US senate, is a constitutional abomination, and represents a power grab by the presidency. It needs to be stopped cold, and for good.

If president Romney is unwilling to do this, then the US House should initiate impeachment proceedings against each and every Czar he appoints. No disrespect intended to Romney, but the power of the presidency must be curtailed, voluntarily with the help of the president, OR NOT.

Obama has suggested that since they have not been approved by the senate, they cannot be removed by impeachment, so unless Romney agrees, it will be up to congress and the SCOTUS to decide if indeed they *can* be impeached.

It would just be easier for Romney to agree not to appoint anyone to a level of government which should be approved by the US senate. And then for congress to establish in the law that the president cannot appoint “Czars” not approved by the senate.

Importantly, the case law for this is Marbury v. Madison, which resulted in both the ability of the SCOTUS to determine the constitutionality of laws, but also that the president cannot be issued a “writ of mandamus” from the courts, *ordering him to act*.

However, the courts most certainly *can* order the president to “not act”. In this case, to *not* appoint Czars not approved by the US senate.

The first thing they need to do is to wipe out all of the Czars and then hire private investigators to start investigating the corruption in the D.C government, and pay them per conviction.

I was being whimsical with the notion of Romney Czars. No way would Romney use czars, but I do want these obamabots prosecuted, and I do like your bounty idea.

As I said in follow up comments, I know he won’t appoint czars. Czars are republican-radioactive. I was just making a list of scandals that need to be seriously looked into and not just ignored by the Romney administration.

A government as corrupt as Obama’s has to be scrutinized and prosecuted. I used the term czars in a rhetorical and whimsical fashion if you read some of the people I would put in as the czars.

Remember Clinton fired all 95 U.S. attorneys that were appointed by Reagan and G.W. Bush.

I don’t understand why this is not more of an issue in this campaign.

I understood your point, but mine would be if they wouldn’t clean the mess out at the base level of responsibility knowing their job was on the line if they didn’t, why would appointing a Czar be any better than the ones we have now that are screwing everything up?

Romney would have one chance, one, otherwise the third prty would begin organizing immediately. If he doesn’t know that, he very quickly will. 2014 will be the bellweather election cycle.

As Greg Gutfeld would say - a czar is just a metaphor.

I don’t care who cleans it up. Just get it done.

I was just enjoying some fanciful picks I’d like to see taking this current bunch to the cleaners.

Yeah, i figured you were just making a point about the obamobots and it is well taken, they should be tried for treason and not just a few of them.

The government is always trying to make an example of how mean they can be, Ruby Ridge, Waco, we need to show them that they can also pay a big price for all of their whoredoms too numerous to mention.
