As national media debate whether women can “have it all”—a successful career and a family—one group of women has chosen to provide for their families at all costs, even if it means leaving their kids behind.
They are the undocumented immigrants who work as nannies in the United States and who, in exchange for work, have paid a high emotional cost: living apart from their own children.
Many working mothers may be familiar with feelings of guilt. But little is known about the drama faced by undocumented nannies in this country—mothers who love and care for other people’s children, while their own children are only able to reach them by phone because they are living back in their home country.
This is the story of three immigrant mothers: A Mexican woman who promised her kids she would come home soon but, because she hasn’t been able to, lives tormented by her broken promise. A Salvadoran woman who strives to give her kids material things because she can’t be there with them, instilling in them values and praising their accomplishments. And an Argentine woman who, after 14 years of separation, reunited with her children.

No thy’re not “women” making a sacrifice; they’re CRIMINAL INVADERS who suck tax dollars and then deposit Anchor Babies, and then invite entire extended families from foreign locations and say “you can’t break up a family”.....and we get billed for them, too, while they fight Voter ID, and vote Democrat for even MORE “los freebies”.
See if we had a decent immigration policy and sent them back home immediately they would not have to suffer these long separations.

REALITY CHECK Once they worm their way over the border, thry ride the gravy train using multiple identities ----and the looting and pillaging begins.......collecting multiple EITC refunds, UI, SSI, food stamps, welfare, free medical care---none of which they are entitled to.

In 2005, the pay outs totaled $924 million. This program allows low income earners to claim a $1,000 per child credit. $20 billion EITC is estimated to have been paid out to these cunning "impoverished" illegals. Most of them are collecting over and over again-----using multiple identities-----falsifying official apps---claiming several children they do not have and/or falsely stating kids are back in their homelands.
REFERENCE March 8, 2012 KENNER, La. -- Kenner police arrested illegal Marvin Baca who sold false W-2 forms to another illegal immigrant for $1,500. Baca sold fraudulent W-2 forms for $1,500 to other Hispanics here illegally.
Police said that on one of the forged W-2 forms had a SS no of a person living in Virginia. Police said illegal Hispanics purchase fictitious W-2 forms and file false tax returns with the government to receive EITC refunds. Baca was charged with one count of ID theft and two counts of forgery.

CNBC's excellent cable show "American Greed" documented the story of viscious wife-killer Carlos Peres Olivo. Olivo was a disbarred lawyer who took large sums from many latino criminals then took a hike.
One client was an "impoverished" latina maid who forked over $20,000 to Olivo...(how many working class Americans do you know w/ $20,000 laying around?)Seems the "poor, helpless" latino maid tried to bribe a govt agent to get a green card.... and ended up in jail.
After being disbarred, "family man" Olivo, plotted to kill his American wife of 25 years---he made sure to put $900,000 life insurance on her.
The "family man" also had a mistress in Puerto Rico.
