My husband wrote this excellent post to another FReeper who doesn't like Romney, and I have seen many of these type of people. So I wanted to post this because my husband touches on such important issues that people need to really think about and hopefully reconsider voting come November. Good job honey!

They do not care..they are right and everyone else is wrong.

Obama could rape every American in full view for all to see, and they would still claim it wouldnt be any better with Romney in there.

The motto they go by is, “We want it our way, and we want it NOW!”

How about non-Obama Americans going in extermination camps?

Oh, he’s planning to join the Obama crew at that point.

When they said “past the tipping point”, I think you misunderstood them. I’m sure they didn’t mean nothing worse could happen, simply that we may be past the point of no return in terms of righting our country and restoring a constitutional republic through the ballot box. So, if that is true, then electing Romney may be pragmatically better but it does not address the issue of fixing our country’s deeper problems. In fact, it could be counterproductive, since a pragmatically worse situation could lead to a quicker demise of the corrupted system, allowing a quicker restoration.

Sitting out this election because you are not happy with Romney, is like not supportiing FDR and Churchill in WW2 because Stalin was their ally.

You are proceeding from an incorrect premise. I will vote in this election and support as many CONSERVATIVES I can find on the ballot. I will not vote for EITHER socialist.

Ya haf to unnerstand the Dems see politics as a broken-bottle, knife and gun, bar-room brawl...in other words “war” for survival...

In the words of one helluva an American

“As you know, you go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.”

Donald Rumsfeld

On the battlefield...nobody is standing around quoting ideology.

I may not agree much with Romney ....but unlike Obama, he DOES have the executive skills and experience to get the job done. We can only hope and pray he knows what to do with the Bamster.

I sure do wish it’d been Palin , however..

Your husband needs to take a valium and chill.

"You really are naive. Nothing worse can happen, huh?"

You really are arrogant and blind to the dangers that Romney presents.

"How about those hefty taxes that are planned for the “rich” (really small businesses) in January? Think that might possibly cause our economy to get even worse by increasing the jobless?"

Even Obama has called for a 1 year extension of the Bush Tax breaks. Neither candidate has a decent economic plan. And Romney's push to open yet more third world economies means more American jobs exported.

"How about the $1 trillion dollar debt (conservatively estimated) for the next fiscal year’s budget and every year’s budget thereafter?"

The right way to fix the economy is to get our people working again, but neither candidate has a clue on how to do this. They need to raise import tariffs and put American's back to work. Besides, all spending bills orginate in the House. It's hard to blame Obama for something that a Republican Congress doesn't have the spine to tackle. Obama's plan is do nothing or hire government workers. Romney's plan is to outsource more jobs overseas. Obama actually scores higher.

"How about the disregard and attacking of the rights of all religious institutions, who will be forced to pay for something they believe is morally wrong? Do you think quite possibly Catholic hospitals and facilities might possibly go out of business?'

Yes that's bad. But is Romney any better. His Romneycare did the same thing to Catholic Hospitals in Mass.

How about the actual implementation of Obama Care, which will devalue our way of life, drive doctors out of the business, bankrupt insurance companies, and cause skyrocketing premiums?

As opposed to Romneycare? Have you been listening to Romney? He's already taken most of the key provisions of Obamacare off the table. Romney's "Repeal and replace" amounts to rebranding the program with Romney's name. Changing the tax penalty to a tax credit (virtually the same, but one sounds better). And offering a huge federal incentive so that states will have no choice but to choose" to implement Romneycare instead of being forced to implement Obamacare by law.

"How about the complete collapse of our economy, which will likely result in unprecented skyrocketing inflation rates and quite possibly a depression that we have never ever seen the likes of?"

Since neither candidate has a plan, both seem quite capable of accomplishing this. Romney's plan of cutting safety nets for the poor before the structural issues in the economy are addressed is going crash the economy as well as result in a popular revolt against conservatism that will likely doom our cause for 20 to 30 years.

"What about the complete disregard of any and all pro-life protections - babies, the elderly (euthanasia - they won’t be needed anymore?"

Read WorldNetDaily's article about Romney being a weathervane on abortion. He points whatever way the political winds are blowing. If you are thinking Romney is the one to lead us out of the abortion quaqmire, think again.

"How about the removal of any moral values for our country at all?"

So we should vote Romney? The guy who appointed homosexual activists to the bench in Mass? The guy who told the Boy Scouts they should allow gays in leadership positions? The guy who says one thing in campaign speeches and then does another. The guy who's campaign managers openly talks about "etch-a-sketching" campaign positions?

"How about World War III in the Middle East, the annihiliation of Israel, and a nuclear holocaust there as well, with the fear of dirty bombs in this country?:"

Last time I checked, Obama was still bombing terrorists. Well at least when he's not leaving our embassies unsecured. Romney does score a little higher than Obama on middle east. But then Israel is in the hands of God. Romney's pro-Israel stance is offset by his own belief in a cult religion that has twisted Christianity until it's not recognizable.

"How about the removal of all our rights - free speech, freedom of religion, right to bear arms through Obama executive order fiats?"

Are there no checks and balances? Romney's commitment to democratic fair play was in full evidence in the convention. As well as in Mass when he overrode the legislature and single handedly implemented gay marriage.

How about the replacement of our conservative judges with ultra liberal anti-Constitutionalists?"

Seriously? Do you know what Romney's record was in Mass? Read the WND article "Liberals running wild" on Romney's judicial appointment record.

"How about a Communistic-style of government that will lead us to the point of no return?"

What about hyperbole? Have you read the WND article written by a Mormon Bishop's daughter that talks about the Mormon plan to take over the government?

"Your no vote is a vote for Communism. Congratulations on your “principled” approach. And you’re doing that to teach the party “a lesson”? There won’t be a 2016 election to turn to, after Obama gets done."

Your vote for a GOP liberal will guarantee at least 8 more years of the same liberalism. You're the one voting for someone that doesn't share your conservative values. Not us.

"You and others like you have no genuine concern or accountability for our country at all."

We're very concerned. We just don't see how voting for a GOP labeled liberal is going to help steer the country away from liberalism. And we don't buy the sky is falling last chance for America scare tactics either.

And we don't really appreciate you're impuning motives or character traits to us. That's a liberal tactic.

Just curious; Do y’all reward your child for shoplifting, because “hey, at least he didn’t shoot the storekeeper, like the neighbor boy did”?

Because that has been the lesson that the GOP has been taught for too long.

Instead of rewarding bad behavior, placing all your hope in weak vessels. I’d say prepare yourselves and your loved ones for the coming crash.

Because it doesn’t matter if Thelma is driving the car at 100 MPH, Or Louise is driving it at 80 MPH, the car IS going off the cliff.

I don’t live in a “battleground” state. My vote for President will not make one whit of difference this year, or in any other, for that matter.

Therefore, I can cast my vote (or not, as the case may be) with a completely clear conscience. At this time, I do not plan on voting for Romney, and may go as far as to leave the line blank. I said at the start of the primary season that I would not help out the establishment GOP by supporting or voting for Romney under any circumstances, and I’m sticking by that.

I understand that those in battleground states don’t have that luxury, and I would certainly encourage them to vote against Obama even though that means voting for Romney.

I will be voting on down ticket races, of course.

Some more arsenal for your husband:

From: John Porter

To: Americans everywhere

I was sitting at my keyboard halfway through my writing a letter to you about how Barack Obama was fulfilling his pledge to "Transform America" by "Changing the fundamentals of America ," so that our government would become the plantation, he the owner, and we the slaves, when this article by Steve McCann appeared in my e-mail In Box. After checking it for accuracy, and finding it to be so, I put my writing on hold. Here I present Steve McCann's remarks to you, for I could not say it better.

Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans

The 2012 election has often been described as the most pivotal since 1860.This statement is not hyperbole. If Barack Obama is re-elected the United States will never be the same, nor will it be able to re-capture its once lofty status as the most dominant nation in the history of mankind.

The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama's first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of "transforming America " in his second term regardless of which political party controls congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term was to make congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.

During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of congress and the media was in an Obama worshipping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the Executive Branch.

The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not congress would subsequently write.

For example, in the 2,700 pages of Obama Care there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they "shall" do something and more than 200 times when they "may" take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the "Secretary determines." In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the dictator president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once Obama Care is fully operational in 2014.

The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers virtually unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation's financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the Executive Branch controlled by dictator Barack Obama and his radical associates.

Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others.

Sadly, none of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse unless stopped in its early stages.

It is clearly the mindset of the Obama administration and its appointees that congress is merely a nuisance and can be ignored after they were able to take full advantage of the useful idiots in the Democrat controlled House and Senate in 2009-2010 and the Democrat Senate in the current congress.

Additionally, Barack Obama knows after his re-election, a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there always will be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with or intimidated by an administration more than willing to use Chicago style political tactics.

The stalemate between the Executive and Legislative Branches will inure to the benefit of dictator Barack Obama and his fellow leftists anti Americans.

The most significant power congress has is the control of the purse-strings as all spending must be approved by congress. However, once re-elected, dictator Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican-controlled congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering congressional ability to control the administration through spending constraints.

Further, the Obama administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.

Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Dictator Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people.

Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated . The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words, and deeds during his first term, Obama does not intend to work with congress, either Republican or Democrat in his second term but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted.

The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the Founding Fathers in the hope that over the years only people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other. What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Legislative Branch, congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores it.

Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party, and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling congress and the various committee chairmanships. Steve McCann May 12, 2012

I (John Porter) would add but 6 words to those above mentioned, Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney, to say "and we the American people," must also come to grips with this moment in time and our role in denying Barack Obama his life long goal of "transforming" us into his slaves working on his government plantation.
