Anger grows over media bias
the examiner ^ | 9/27/2012 | BY: FRANK VERNUCCIO

Anger is beginning to erupt nationwide over what many perceive to be media bias against Mitt Romney and other Republican or conservative-oriented candidates. The Media Research Center has consistently provided examples of bias against the Republican challenger to President Obama.

The bias extends beyond actual news reporting and includes the well-known proclivity of Hollywood to back leftist candidates, exemplified by the recent disclosures that funds would be provided to “push” a pro-Obama message on purely entertainment television shows. The incentive may well be a redundancy. Indeed, some broadcasts, David Letterman being a prime example, already sound like humorous infomercials on behalf of the president.

The heightened level of anger is thought to have sprung from several recent incidents, although lingering resentment over exceptionally pro-Obama sentiments, particularly on television news broadcasts, remain from the 2008 election. A prime example often cited by critics is MSNBC’s Chris Mathews admission that he gets “a thrill up his leg” when he hears Obama speak.

I believe that the now-blatant Bias in the media is a good thing, as it's got people so pissed off, they'll do the OPPOSITE of what they're told to do (told to vote for Democrats/Socialists/Progressives/Communists).

That is, those who actually can THINK, and are not couch potatoes who actually BELIEVE TV and Hollywood.

Those who are parasitic and dependent on handouts; they vote (D) religiously, so they are un-affected by "news".

Yeah on NBC it goes something like this; "Tonights top story is about Mitt Romney's new vague attack ad about the President Barak Obama(no video). Here now is Obams ad refuting these claims (full ad played to national audience).

Just reporting both sides.

I enjoy Jeopardy but the uber-presence of the Mooch lately has really pissed me off. I sent a letter but that’s worse than useless. I think they keep track of how many letters like mine they get and the highest number for any show gets a reward of some kind.

It’s all just a game to sell the story. Just wait, later this week or next week fox news will talk about a small rise in the polls, ABC and CBS will start talking about a come-back. The rest of the media will smell the story in the air about Mitt’s amazing comeback. The story sells, media makes money. In the end polls are back to the truth, media reporting slightly liberal (instead of the uber liberal). And suddenly, even though nothing changed, they have an actual story to sell in this campaign. And the close finish that sells Newspapers (if anyone still bought newspapers)

My approach is very direct:

1) I first call the media outlet and inform them that I have taken exception to their position and will be boycotting their advertisers;

2) I next call the companies who purchase advertising on said media outlet and ask if they believe/support the liberal drivel I just had to endure;

3) I then inform the company that I will not be buying their product/service as I judge people by the company they keep.

The responses I get vary, but I’ve learned there are a lot of things I can live without.

Bottom line is, even liberal media outlets have to cover their costs and this is accomplished chiefly through advertising revenue. If the customer is unhappy, the advertiser should likewise be unhappy (that is, if they have any sense).

[ the simple answer is to just have some conservative billionaire buy CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and fire everyone, then fix this mess. ]

Better....... Buy ONE of them fix “IT” provide FOX News some competition and make himself a Billion for the effort.. if not a Billion a few hundred million then..

Oh! and buy controlling interest in one or two of the others.. or even a piece of the pie..

It won’t happen, and it won’t be from lack of money. Newsweek sold out to The Daily Beast for $1.00 rather than risk selling to a conservative. They will literally gouge out their eyes before allowing a conservative to take over their operation.

The media deliberately and intentionally presented a fake picture of the current occupant of the Oval Office. They deliberately painted him as a moderate, kind, non-partisan person, and deliberately hid the FACT that he is a communist, redistributionist, White-hater, Christianity-hater, jihadi-sympathizer, Jew-hater, atheist incompetent.

They should be constantly referred to as “The Corrupt Liberal Media”,CLM for short. The term “mainstream media’ is actually complementary to the leftist radicals who run that show. There is nothing “mainstream” about their hard left agenda.

Always using this term could be a powerful tactic if it became widespread and becomes a household word.

The Left understands the power of loaded terminology. ie, “homophobic” “undocumented immigrant” “gay” etc.

Imagine the heartburn of the likes of Chris Mathews if CLM went viral became a widespread term!

A simple tactic but it could do more exposing their corruption than dozens of articles like this one if it took off

Just to fire that dike and the rest of the idiots on MSNBC

I guess you should ask, why don't they? Maybe they are not as unsatisfied as they let on.

Most probably don't remember how we got CNN in the first place. Ted tried to buy one of the networks and they all went into a tizzy that he would destroy the news integrity blah, blah, blah so they would not let him buy one, because he was too conservative.

Though Hannity is partisan, he at least has facts to back up most of what he says.

All three of them.(facts he has)

I think that there is a sizeable part of America that is finally realizing that the media which they depended upon for all of their lifetime has been boldly lying to them.

I think this will create a severe backlash in this election & in the coming years.

IOW- Payback is a bitch!!

I do not have a problem with open partisans like Matthews being biased.

I DO have a problem with bias by reporters and editors of news. And this kind of bias is rampant.

I have long said, News anchors needs to have a text bar underneath them when they are speaking which says "Union Democrat from New York."

People Need apple Itunes to download Jesse’s podcasts.
Roger Hedgecock

As for Mark Levin everybody knows about him. He has his own page of podcasts.
http://www.marklevinshow.com/rss/ilevin.xml

I was going to post Savage’s rss feed but alas he just left his syndicator TRN today just hours ago and I have found article on it, but basically his material was erased off the net podcast age.

Still trying to find others that are new to me besides the ones we already all know. Plus, Glenn Beck’s stuff requires membership as does Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham. Laura locked her podcast page. Most of the free podcasted hosts have the ability to be downloaded on Itunes as well.
