The battle for the AL East division ends tonight (perhaps) Orioles are tied with the Evil Empire, aka the Yankees). Orioles have a tough game against the Rays, while the Yankees get the pathetic Red Sox ( and they'e MY team, gawd help me..)Both games start at 7Pm..so tney should be over about the same time as the debate ends. They you can turn on FOX and hear Juan Williams tell you that Obama won the debate..
Yanks win, Orioles lose, Yanks win the division, Orioles are the wild card.
Orioles win, Yanks lose, just reverse it.
Both win, or both lose, and there is a one game playoff on Thursday, then the winner of that game goes right into a one game wild card playoff on Friday..

MLB network will carry the games..split screen..and they're in most cable systems..
I’m doing neither. No reason to suffer through a debate when I already know how I’m voting, and this baseball season has no narrative for me. I’ll be burning down some DVR tonight, got lots of stuff on there.
neither...i cannot watch the debate as i cannot stand listening to obozo for more than 10 seconds....i will follow it on Freep tonight in the live thread then watch the post debate response on Fox and maybe one of the criminal liberal networks (ABC??)
Your analysis is not correct. The Yankees have a one game lead. Yanks win, they’re in, regardless of O’s result. If O’s lose, Yanks are in even if Yanks lose. Both win or both lose, Yanks are in. Only way to get to a Yanks/Orioles playoff is O’s win, Yanks lose.
I think it the Yanks win they win the division, regardless of what the Orioles do, no playoff. Why is there a playoff if they both win, since the Yankees are ahead by a game? I am just a girl, though, so I might have it wrong.
