The title of this THREAD, "Obama Just Blew It," pretty much sums up the despair of the DUmmies after watching The Bamster get slaughtered at tonight's debate by Mitt Romney. How bad was the slaughter? So bad that even the MSDNC hosts admitted that Obama lost badly. In fact, I thought the upset Chris Matthews seemed in desperate need of being hit with a tranquillizer dart to calm him down. Obama's debate defeat was so bad that there were MANY DUmmie threads on how badly he lost including, Ed says Romney won.... would you disagree? ... Tweety is beside himself ... and My opinion, Romney is winning this debate :(. I'm sure many other similar DUmmie threads despairing of the horrible debate performance by The One will be sprouting up but let us now DUFU these threads in which the DUmmies begin to experience the agony of DEFEAT in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if The Obamassiah will FIRE John F. Kerry as a Romney debate stand-in, is in the [barackets]:
Obama just blew it.
[Perhaps but you did put a smile on the face of one Ben Burch.]
Sorry, but saying that they have essentially the same position on social security is blowing it.
[Obama blew it just by showing up completely unprepared. Wonder if he will now FIRE John F. Kerry as his Romney debate stand-in.]
Very disappointed ... that 'No Drama Obama' is on stage this evening.
[He was preoccupied thinking about tomorrow's golf game.]
This thread should be deleted, and ... the poster banned, for such a silly, senseless post.
[Please! No interference with our HAPPY THOUGHTS!]
He wanted to talk Medicare so he moved right past Social Security. it was a strategic move
[Ah yes. It was a multi-dimensional chess move that we mere mortals can't understand.]
I'm not watching the debate. But I can tell from what I have read on DU tonight, Obama is blowing it bigtime. No doubt about it.
[Good idea because if you do watch the debate you just might reach for your L-pill.]
His performance tonight was less than stellar.
[aka horrible.]
He needed to bring a dog crate and a pair of scissors instead he brought Beggin Strips.
[I thought he brought Meow Mix but maybe that's just me.]
Mitt was very organized...ticked off points...good ones...Obama was not his best.
[Which Walmart Detention Center do you want to be assigned to after Nov. 6?]
President Obama did just fine!
[Is that you, Moochell? And now we go to another DUmmie Defeatist thread...]
Ed says Romney won.... would you disagree?
[Not a bit.]
Obama was not there.
[Correct. He was out on the 15th hole of the golf course.]
He just rolled over and did not look presidential. I hate to say it, but I agree with the MSNBC pundits, he was ineffectual and let Romney roll all over him. God, I'm so upset. I cannot live in a country 'led' by Romney.
[Your plane ticket to the country 'led' by Kim Jong Umph is in the mail.]
I didn't hear it all. But in the part I heard Obama was kicking butt.
[That was the part where you fell asleep into a "West Wing" dream sequence in which President Jeb Bartlett swamped his EVIL Republican debate opponent.]
Advantage: Romney. In the debate.
[And on November 6.]
Morphed Mitt was not anticipated tonight. Obama was off balance by Rmoney lies.
[Morphed Mitt beat Beamed Barry.]
It was so bad, that it had to be the plan all along... I'm hoping and praying that this was the Dem's plan. Otherwise I'm lost.
[That's what Inspector Clousea claims when he falls over a couch. It was all part of his plan.]
I don't like saying it, but I think Romney cleaned Obama's clock. Romney took over the debate and directed it wherever he wanted. Obama was passive and defensive.
[Stop with the inconvenient truths!!!]
President Obama wandered and was not sharp with his answers. God, I feel bad now.
[Take an L-pill and call the doctor in the morning. And the next thread on deck is...]
Tweety is beside himself
[I have a bottle of Grey Goose that should help calm him down.]
Chris just said everything that needed to be said. I am so disappointed. I didn't see this coming at all. What was the President doing?!?!?!?!?!?!
[Coasting through the debate and playing out the clock until his next golf game.]
He let an arrogant bully push him around.
[Mommy! He hurt me!!!]
Mitt wasn't Mitt tonight. He morphed. It took Obama off his balance.
[In the next debate, Mitt won't morph but will mind meld with the Borg.]
He should prep Obama for the next debates
[And teach Obama how to drool all over his shirt.]
The whole panel looks grief stricken
[I went right over to MSDNC right after the debate and I knew what the deal was right away when looking at their grief stricken faces.]
MR controlled this debate.
[There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to The Romney Limits.]
Obama knows he could have done better. He's not going to make the same mistake again. And don't use John Kerry for practice debates, use Chris Matthews!
[And that's why it's called MSDNC.]
Turned it off...BS on both sides...Mitt was very well organized and Obama, well..
[Don't forget to turn off reality after Nov. 6. Finally, we go to the last thread...]
My opinion, Romney is winning this debate :(
[I sure hope you didn't bet the farm on Obama at InTrade.]
I still think Obama is making a mistake in his delivery and the way he holds himself on stage.
[Yes, it does help to actually LOOK at your opponent instead of the floor.]
I'm saying I want to see the Obama I saw at the DNC. Loud and in charge. I'm saying that...
[Sorry but you are NOT allowed to bring a teleprompter to a debate.]
I want our President to f*ck Romney up, down, and sidewise
[Ben Burch wants a piece of that action.]
If the race was tied, I might be concerned. Obama is ahead enough in the states that matter.
[This DUmmie will definitely be in need of an L-pill on Election Night.]
I don't see this being a game changer and he is down ~9% in Ohio right now.
[The Heaven's Gate Mother Ship awaits you on Nov. 6.]
Romney did a great job so we have a horse race again.
[But...but isn't Obama winning Ohio by 9% in the D+11 polls?]
Carville is saying that "Romney looked like he wanted to be there, and Obama looked like he didn't wan't to be there." I agree.
[The place where Obama looked like he wanted to be was the golf course.]
Its coming now Hard
I missed the debate to. I can’t take 15 seconds of Zero..
Glad to hear he got his butt handed to him :)
PING!
"Hope Joe Biden Dominates Ryan in the VP Debates"
Now that one will be worth a big bowl of popcorn & the big easy chair!
That's because hussein's record for the last 4 years is the worst by far (and "by far" I mean so far out in front you can't even see 2nd place from here) of any administration, ever. Mitt has everything at his fingertips to beat on hussein with. hussein has nothing but fact-free talking points. Thankfully Mitt stood up to him and called him a liar to his face (nicely).
Confusion, Denial, Altered, Catatonic, Inebriation,...
before 10?
That much? I have never heard the dork say a complete sentence. I manage to mute/switch off very fast when I see that basturd on TV.
No chance of that! Five minutes into the practice, Chrissy would want to cuddle instead.
Not even Obama is that desperate.
If the race was tied, I might be concerned. Obama is ahead enough in the states that matter.
Nancy Pelosi weighs in ...........
Reading DU, Kos, HuffPo tonight has been priceless.
I’m not celebrating though, I am just looking forward to 1:08AM 11/7/12 when the meltdowns we’re seeing tonight will pale in comparison and the long national nightmare will be well within end.
Some of these comments from the Loony Left are hilarious.
“Chris just said everything that needed to be said. I am so disappointed. I didn’t see this coming at all. What was the President doing?!?!?!?!?!?!”
I am jubilant at the thought of how depressed libtards will be tonight. Romney NEEDS to do this in every debate. It will drive them NUTS!
>
If you turn off the sound during the debate and just look at the expressions and mannerisms of the people on stage you would swear that it was an adult admonishing a young employee.
PJ, I have been anxiously awaiting your first post from the debate tonight. Thanks so much for staying up and posting...this was already a great night, you just made it better. :)
Poor Juan Williams seemed to have watched a different debate. He appeared shell shocked and unwilling to concede what even MSNBC folks were admitting.
I haven’t gotten to see the debate yet, but my first stop was du when I saw the headlines. Heh. Those letters also stand for “Delusions Unlimited”. Must have been quite a show. I’m not sure what’s worse- seeing either 0bama or Mitt or listening to them, but no matter (I haven’t watched a SOTU in so long, I don’t remember the last one). I’m delighted he did well!
(Ugh. I feel like I need eye bleach every time I go there. & wonder why no one ever uses ‘cuss like a democrat’.)
